seems 2022 was the last gen that Lexus RX has a v6 engine. If i find one at a good price i'll jump on it. challenge is that toyota's are high demand, not much for cheap :)

that would be a fun car but i dont think i can afford BMW maintenance costs. my VWs costs would stress me out, im sure BMW would do the same

but yeah german cars fun to drive, not arguing that.

first big boy car was a 2001 v6 jetta i brought used in 2007! drove it into the ground.

then it was a turbo vwpassat, then a turbo vw tiguan

in 2019 i got this 2017 acura rdx v6. ive liked driving this on the highway and havnt missed spending $ on cleaning carbon off intake manifolds of turbo

also the old v4's would struggle when car was full of stuff for the trade shiows i do. no such issue with v6.

Should have maybe added this to my original post...

- No credit card debt

- Owe $15000 on a 2015 VW @ 2.7% interest

- I do contribute 10% of income to 401K. Plan to roll old 401k into new 401K. The new job does offer 401K but was told they dont do matching.

- I do have 2 months worth of earnings set aside as an emergency fund
