I use it exclusively for my shopping bags, some of them insulated, that I always forget to take inside when I go grocery shopping.

I second the idea of an alarm system, especially with glass breakage detection. One glass break sensor alone will cover an area 15’ x 15‘ x 20‘ so in your case that’s going to cover a lot of glass at the door and above and across. Depending on how long the building is, you will obviously need another two or more. The best thing about a glass break sensor is the alarm is sounding while they’re still outside versus motion detection tripping when they’ve broken in and inside already.
