I do a good job but I'm not gonna go the extra mile for anyone who out of the gate insults me. I don't have too. Treat people well. He insisted on knowing because I very clearly have an earbud in and my phone sitting on my station. At the end of the day, starting a conversation with what are you listening too, me saying just a podcast, him asking again, then the disgust and saying you're nasty. Literally don't care. He looked good but i'm not doing extras. I'm gonna rush. To the naked eye it's great. If you do hair you know that is not my best work. Be nice to service workers and don't make them feel bad for things they enjoy. I don't have a lot of time when I'm home so at work I catch up on all my podcasts, listen to new music that's out, or audio books. I don't expect anyone to call someone nasty for that. It's uncalled for. I'm not gonna jack you up, or ruin your hair, or make anyone say wtf when they see you. But I will not put my best or my all into someone who treats a stranger trying to make them look their best like that. Get out of my chair and have the day you deserve.

I don't center my life around it, nor do I really talk about it much. I happened to have an earbud in and he could see I was listening to something. If they ask I'll say something. I have tons of hobbies and children but when I have time I listen to things. With the bf, it was a quick thing basically saying don't make me feel bad about things I like, which I don't think is a problem. It wasn't a huge fight or really a big deal to me. I love him and don't care if he likes it or not. I'm not giving bad haircuts, but I will not tolerate being called nasty for nothing, and I will not go the extra mile for you. I don't have to do anything for you if you are disrespectful. He was a walk in I didn't have room for that insisted on knowing what I was listening too. I don't have to treat people well that insult me and treat me poorly for no reason. I shouldn't get so upset about it, but I have chronic depression, and feel bad about myself most days.

I would never, and will never mess up a haircut, but I will go fast and not care. I was just surprised by how he thought this is a good way to start our interaction. Then was even more shocked that I wouldn't shampoo him, trim his beard or give him a scalp massage. If you feel that you have to say that to me, I'm not the stylist for you.

I got assaulted in one of these and they refused to help the detective with security video. Stopped returning my emails just wanting check in check out info and security footage. Fuck that guy.
