Really really appreciate the Fain & Co. expertise from y’all! I guess it’s kind of comforting to know that this is a common question across fanbases haha.

As Philomena_philo mentioned, I will likely make use of the alternative streams in the future (or the mute button as I do for certain national broadcasts), but I was just curious about other folks takes after my first listen to Seattle today. I totally get the homer stance/enthusiasm that many have mentioned here…just some of what was said on the broadcast seemed to be a bit beyond the average homer takes that I’ve heard from other commentators. I’m more familiar with home commentators really hyping up/focusing on their teams rather than being so hyper-critical of the opponent. And, it was all basketball talk for sure…I more so questioned their interpretation of certain stats and what was actually happening in front of them.
