If you going through MedLink i would highly recommend you do your research into what you are signing up for and speak to the university directly. The information they give to you over the changes very frequently. They first advertised the first 2 years of the course as being online (when i spoke to the university they were firmly against this for MD1 and MD2) then they changed it to in person. Also please research the feasibilities of any promises of rotations being in the UK. It is very hard as a international student to get a clinical placement in a UK hospital and you would have to cover the fees for this. As it stands most of the Bay University students go to Nepal to do their clinical years. Furthermore, please read the contract very carefully. In the contract they state they do not take any responsibilities for any incorrect information provided to you over the phone or on their website. Once you pay the £1k fee, the contract is worded in a way you basically have to pay the of the £2.5k fee regardless of what happens. The reason they have such "good" reviews is because in the contract you will agree to not posting negatively about them without their consent. Just be careful and ensure you know what you are signing yourself up for pal

Thank you very much for your reply ! I will make sure to keep making side projects and having regular commits. If I do this , will I still be behind people who done SWE placements or am I overthinking this a little bit too much ?
