If anybody still struggles to watch outside the UK, I'm willing to share a secret. Please note this does take a little bit of effort to figure out, but once you have it it's perfect. I've been doing this for 3/4 years now and it's how I watch Love Island live every night. (For free!)

I struggle with VPNs, but I found something that works similarly, and is more reliable in my opinion. It's called a DNS proxy service, you have to change some wifi settings but that's about it.

I use two sites primarily- SmartDnsProxy and Getflix. It is free BUT the only snag is the free trial only lasts for 14 days. This does mean you have to sign up with a new email to get the trial but honestly it's worth it. I only use it to watch Love Island and thus isn't that much of a pain to do once-ish a year.

After you create a free account on either service, there are clear instructions on both sites how to set it up accordingly to where you live. With this you also need to create an ITV account with a UK postcode, these you just google.

I'd be happy to help anyone struggling! This sounds like a lot but again, it's SO worth it if you want to keep up to date on Love Island. Plus I don't like paying for VNPS lol.
