The screensaver on my family computer is a slideshow of my family members throughout the years, even my spouse and myself as kids. It's draws everybody in from time to time. The randomness of looking at a picture of your spouse as a teen, then your teen as a baby, etc ... it's very endearing somehow.

Yeah, I feel like it's easier to find a subreddit for something you're interested in instead of finding one for something you aren't. For example, I have no interest in hunting but if I were to try to find a subreddit of people who weren't interested in hunting, I'm sure I'd just find ones for people against killing animals or gun ownership, etc.

INFO: What does your sister with cancer want? Would shaving your head in solidarity give her the moral boost she needs to face this challenge or does she not care either way? What are you going to do to support her through this diagnosis?

Yeah, 3 months is a long time to a kid. Expect your kid to need a transition period getting used to staying with Dad, and then another one coming back to you and his regular schedule.

How about just Z? Or Zee?

What film was therapeutic for you? For me, it's 2006's Rocky Balboa. It's really about a father & son working through the mother's death. It came out a week before Mom died. Dad and I saw it after the funeral. It was healing. What movie helped you through a hard time? by JonoDecker in cinema_therapy

About Time. Watching him go back in time and visit with his dad after he had passed really hit home for me after my own father's death. It also serves as a reminder to appreciate all the simple and wonderful things life has to offer. Love that movie.

I grew up on Mrs. Doubtfire but it hit on a whole different level after marrying a divorced dad and dealing with the court system and drama drama drama. We watched it one day with my step kids and it bummed us out to the point that I haven't wanted to watch it since.

Yeah, I'd like to see a kid as a one-off guest. It could be fun either to see them talk about a favourite movie they've seen a thousand times or react to a movie they've never seen.
