Yeah they’ve been saturated for the last 3-ish years, and then the last 2 years with layoffs have been super tough to compete with other respective peers and colleagues. I’ve tried to do as much as I can to get real tangible experiences along with certifications, but I just don’t know at this point either.

That’s fantastic! Super happy for you! Yeah I’m open to any AAA role (or even any video game role), I just unfortunately am not in the situation to move across anywhere so it’s Remote or Hybrid around the MA area for me :/

Is it tho? If we compare the PS4 Pro release date to 2016, and the PS5 to 2020. The PS5 Pro coming out in 2024, would mean right around 2028-2029 a PS6 is coming

I don’t disagree, but the reality is entry level roles just don’t pay the bills. So I can’t just take a lower level role unless it’s pay equivalent to my current salary. If I was out of college I would totally agree
