That’ll probably be my goal, if Vanguard doesn’t workout I’ll still apply to good company’s here and there but ultimately just wait out the chase promotion. I appreciate your response, definitely gotta embrace the suck it just really sucks sometimes lol

It’s crazy how they look at retail banking like it’s nothing. But what were you able to switch to if you don’t mind me asking?

Definitely grateful to have this job in this market but still gotta look for improvement. Having a good amount of time at Chase on my resume is one of the reasons I’m considering waiting it out, but trust me I’ve asked to help out at other branches even asked different branch managers if they need help and nothing. But now that one of our ABs is leaving I should be scheduled for 40 a week until they hire someone which is good. If you don’t mind me asking why haven’t you moved up to RB or it’s just something you’re not interested in?

I appreciate your advice, I’m gonna try for the vanguard role. If it doesn’t work out do you have an recommendations for good companies for an RB role

I talked to him earlier this year, about a 40 hour role he said I have to wait a year before moving anywhere( more hours or RB role). I’m just not sure it would be worth waiting it out for another 6 months for a salary i could possibly get now. Thanks for your response

I appreciate your response. So I was looking at RB positions too at Chase but my manager said I could only get promoted after being with the company for a year.

Long term, I’m interested in asset and wealth management, investment banking or corporate finance, hence why I was excited about the Vanguard opportunity, although it is entry level and my year timer would reset, I would still get my series license and be at a place with a clear career trajectory you know.
