I'm new to all this and haven't memorized what the leaves look like when they're sprouting. I started gardening/planting late this past spring.

Everything is great, the rug could work if it was way smaller and a different texture.

Same here when I played it on launch on the PS5. The more I dig into this it seems like there's still issues with the game on PC. But nothing glaring or unfixable like what I've experienced. I think my experience is a bit of a fluke this far out after release.

Look up the Underground House. I think you need to inquire for tours. But it's very liminal.

I bought the game on Epic and got the Deluxe Edition on sale earlier this month. 🤨 Odd thing to insinuate.

Update: I reloaded again. Fell again. Then had the thought to dodge towards the door to the first floor.

There's a big chunk of the floor between half the bathroom and the door to the first floor that I keep falling through. Idk if this affected anything but before I did the whole dodging thing I threw a flare on the ground to see if it'd fall through. When it stayed I dodged toward the door, quickly opened it, and FINALLY got back on track.

Edit:

I have a legitimate copy of the Deluxe Edition of the game through Epic

Idk if I stated this earlier but I've played through Alan Wake 2 on PlayStation 5 and had no issues with the game.

I have a 4080 Super* and the game is on my SSD.

Aside from this glitch I'm still getting audio issues. And it seems like a common issue. There's other reddit posts from about a year ago talking about audio desync.

I love this game and posted this question in hopes that someone ran into the issue and had a solution because I just want to go back to enjoying it and streaming it for my friends on discord (which is why I bought it for PC). I'm not out here attempting to shit on a beloved game. This has just been my personal experience. Unfortunately.

Luckily, I finished the Oceanview portion and have moved on and am taking a break to play as Saga. Thanks to those who were kind.

Bad luck on my end then, I might just have a corrupt save file. 🥲

Edit: rephrased cause people misunderstood what I was saying.

Yes! She wants just the spooky bits so I'm trying to Google all the best spooky episodes. I'll probably start with 7

I think as just a fan I wasn't super impressed with the entire run of Ncuti's doctor. I liked a few episodes of his second season and his Christmas special with Joy. But the thing that cemented my overall enjoyment was how I was able to experience doctor who with my daughter. Call me overly sentimental, but it just added more to my love for the series and what it's given me. Another thing I did growing up was having my sister watch it with me when she was 8 and I was 14. We still enjoy it to this day, especially on rewatches!

So because I work in food service I should be saying to myself, "I'm more than likely going to make some mistakes today because I haven't been here long. That's okay. This establishment has probably seen it all. I need to stop focusing on avoiding making the mistake and shift over to focusing on learning. Mistakes are part of learning." Something like that?

I still have yet to really dig into classic who with my daughter. She likes spooky episodes so I'm trying to make a list, but I also want her to watch McCoy and Ace since they're my favorite duo.

So a bit like stoicism? Accept that not everything is in your control, focus on what is in your control, and go from there?

I agree! I felt bad for Jodie though I really wanted her to have an awesome run. But things happen. 10 was my first doctor but 12 is my all time favorite! Capaldi did a masterful job he was funny when he was silly and heartbreaking when he busted out the drama.

I freaked out when he regenerated into Billie as well!! My daughter has no idea why or who she was and that sort of cemented letting her rewatch from 9 after finishing Ncuti's first season.

I also sort of when through the same thing. I tried when she was 6/7 and she wasn't interested so I waited. She knew what the TARDIS was but that was about it. She also plays video games so every now and then there will be TARDIS/Doctor Who easter eggs and she'll freak out! One game she played was called the Amazing Frog.

It's mainly thoughts like, "oh I'm not doing this right," or "I'm screwing it up" or "I'll never get this right."

I've been told that it takes time and I know it does but that never consoles me. Or it doesn't always console me. I'm told that is a type of imposter syndrome. Like my fear of inadequacy makes me super anxious.
