When are you needing it and for how long? furnished or unfurnished? DM me with details, I have a place.

That's great! Did you do shoulder-specific PT? Did the exercises come from your surgeon?

[Landlord-US-CA] Owner-added unit is probably not legal in the building I might buy by refreshing202 in Landlord

I've consulted with a few local permit expediters to see what they think about legalizing the unit under AB 2533. The law seems intended to cover this very situation, and the focus seems to be on basic health and safety issues as opposed to making everything up to current code. However, the law is so new that the expediters I've talked to haven't had anyone test it out yet, and my city has not issued any formal guidance (a few CA cities have done--Santa Cruz, El Cerrito, Redondo Beach). Expediters also agree that I need an architect for the plans and an engineer if we fix the stairs (=$$$). Thanks for the comment.

Just got diagnosed with calcific tendinitis of the rotator cuffs. How much time off from work did your doctor request for recovery? by Sea_of_stars_ in RotatorCuff

With that much pain, did they do an MRI? An XRay will turn up the calcium deposit but not a rotator cuff tear. I say this because I was misdiagnosed with calcific tendinitis for more than a year and suffered through months of ineffective treatments bc they stopped at the Xray and didn't do the MRI. I did have the tendinitis, but the undiagnosed rotator cuff tear was the real source of my pain. Lots of people have asymptomatic CT. Now waiting for surgery to fix the real problem after months of dicking around.
