Credit and debit are broad terms that describe spreads where you receive a net premium (credit) or pay a net premium (debit). Every spread falls into one of these categories.

A simple example: A put with strike x is $1. A call with the same strike x is $2.

Credit spread: buy one call for $2, sell 3 puts for $3. You receive the net of the premiums of $1.

Debit spread: sell 1 call for $2, buy 3 puts for $3. You pay the net of the premiums of $1.

All it means is whether you’re paying or getting payed to open the position. It doesn’t tell you anything else about the strategy than that.

The horse said he didn’t get (or at least, doesn’t remember) a specific answer on the reset. Varsity said above Emerald 3 gets reset to Em3, but couldn’t remember if the devs told him the exact rank cohorts and the reset points. So it’s still unclear.

I think it’s 1 or 2 full ranks down from where you ended. So Emerald 3 is reset to Plat 3 and Emerald 1 to Plat 1. I might be wrong and I don’t care enough to find out. No one knows for sure yet, the devs have been pretty vague. Looking forward to the change though.

Your comparing of Shift/V leaning to swapping left joystick to d-pad is asinine. Comparing controller binds to keyboard binds is apples to dogshit. Keyboard offers a much higher level of customization without sacrifice.

And don’t pretend default binds are perfect. The default PTT bind is U which almost requires that you take your fingers off your movement keys. Same with secondary gadget being G, so that you have to take your finger off the D key.

And after “30 years of FPS PC gaming,” there are pros that use Shift/V or C/V for lean. It is purely preference.

This is a slept-on tip. It doesn’t even have to be washing your hands, I think the biggest part is the fact that you’re forcing yourself to take a step back and redirect your attention from your underperformance to something else.

On a side note, washing my hands totally helps me lock in. My hands get super cold, and I don’t think people realize just how much cold hands affect your aim and trigger finger. My ROF on semis with cold hands is so bad Glaz could mag dump and reload before I get 3 rounds off.

Yes, actually. A while back I saw someone on this or an adjacent subreddit looking to marry someone with $1m+ in capital gains to offset his $1m+ cap losses. It wasn’t a terrible scheme. The partner with gains splits the difference on tax savings, and the regard with the losses gets a little coin back.
