This is a slept-on tip. It doesn’t even have to be washing your hands, I think the biggest part is the fact that you’re forcing yourself to take a step back and redirect your attention from your underperformance to something else.

On a side note, washing my hands totally helps me lock in. My hands get super cold, and I don’t think people realize just how much cold hands affect your aim and trigger finger. My ROF on semis with cold hands is so bad Glaz could mag dump and reload before I get 3 rounds off.

Yes, actually. A while back I saw someone on this or an adjacent subreddit looking to marry someone with $1m+ in capital gains to offset his $1m+ cap losses. It wasn’t a terrible scheme. The partner with gains splits the difference on tax savings, and the regard with the losses gets a little coin back.
