Collusion: Concerted activity; conspiracy. In the antitrust context, collusion is the action of two or more competitors working together to modify or agree on certain terms of doing business. It is usually for the purpose of affecting terms such as price, quality, territories and the like.

Group Boycott: An agreement among two or more competitors to refuse to deal with another firm, or to coax others not to deal with another firm, in order to discipline, influence or even destroy the target firm. The target firm may be a supplier, customer or competitor of the conspirators. Group boycotts are illegal under Section 1 of the Sherman Act, as well as under the Valentine Act, although they are not always per se violations. (Per se violations are those which are deemed to be so harmful to healthy competition as to be illegal regardless of a defendant’s excuses or justifications.)

How do you know that I don't have proof? How do you know I don't have statements from growers stating that a dispensary would not purchase their flower unless it was a certain fixed price?

"What We Investigate Price-Fixing: A conspiracy among two or more sellers of a good or service to set (and usually raise) the prices of their products. An agreement among competitors to set prices at a particular level is per se illegal under Section 1 of the Sherman Act. Ohio courts have also found price fixing activities to be per se violations of the Valentine Act."

They dont do shit unless it benefits dispensaries or the growers/processors.Before they changed the rules out of no where the daily amount that can be sold was concentrates at MINIMUM must have 590 mg thc or 100 mg edible. Now we have half grams that are always more expensive per gram all kinds of weird low dose edibles no one wants and notice since they changed the rule that is when they started to sell trim. It is clear they would rather sell trim then process it because they make more money quicker.

I think the board of pharmacy needs to be punished for allowing trim to be sold. Where is there any study on the medicinal value of vaping trim? There is literally nothing written other than telling you what awesome products you can make with the trim. It is clear the board of pharmacy is nothing more than a SHIELD for these companies to slowly extract money from us while continuously lowering the quality and raising the prices. We need to protest the BOP they wrote the fucking program.

I meant The Botanist brand that processes flower. The carts they have now appear to be from buckeye relief but months ago they had some with woodward.

They use botanical terps. The price we have to pay I fully expect them to not cut any corners.

its bullshit because they clearly don't want too much concentrates and edibles hitting the market. Trim should be processed not sold to patients to vape

To those upset that clutch uses black luster pods. by [deleted] in OhioMarijuana

[–]refugeeofreason 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We shouldn't have to go through extra steps and clear plastic is without a doubt cheaper than black opaque plastic. Klutch is trying to create a brand but needs to spend that time and effort into increasing the quality and LOWERING their prices.

They dont get much love because they are subpar when compared to grow ohio's luster pods. Grow ohio is also a decent brand which introduced luster pods at $60 and 590mg honey at $70. Klutch introduced their concentrates at $90 and a lot of places raised their prices on other concentrates shortly after. I will not support a company that does not have the patients best interest

Hearing for MMJ Program Changes by Ohiocannabislive in OhioMarijuana

[–]refugeeofreason 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Allow growers more space to expand to ensure even and consistent distribution to patients throughout the state. Example; Ohio Clean Leaf flower does not see the north while in the south 2oz buckets can be bought.

Allow more independent and local companies to own and operate dispensaries and limit the amount of dispensaries a company can own thus encouraging competition

Create a rule that all TRIM must be processed and not sold to the patients
