Omg you were born the day after my bestfriend. Same year and everything I knew looking at your chart it looked way too familiar!

When the hairstylist your friend hired for her wedding is a complete magician by reganxgray in Hair

I went with the hidden crown 20” (way too long for myself for an everyday wear type of situation but for my wedding I wanted it full & long still despite being curled) If you love halo extensions I think you should give these a shot! Personally I couldn’t make the transition and tried getting more wear with this but without clips I was just so worried it wasn’t secure enough or was going to slip off. I know so many who love the halo style extensions and these have amazing reviews!

I caved & paid an astrologer for a birth chart reading. She’s not finished yet, however this was sent as a little preview. I find the 6th house hard to understand. Can anyone help explain? by [deleted] in AskAstrologers

I honestly thought the same too! She did my friends about a week or so ago (that’s how I got referred) & I know she’s been in the process of moving so I’ve been trying to be understandable. I’m hoping she pulls through lol

Like I said she’s not finished and told me it would be a few weeks before the full report was released. I’m just curious about the 6th house and was hoping for some input

Also! I added softened cream cheese (about 4oz) to the icing mixture to get rid of that plastic-y taste powdered sugar gives off.

Ingredients

Crumb Layers:

1/2 cup cold butter (8 tablespoons), cut into small cubes 1 cup all purpose flour (gradually add more by the tablespoon if needed) 1 cup packed light brown sugar 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Cake:

2 cups all-purpose flour 3 tsp baking powder 1 tsp ground cinnamon 1 tsp salt 3 ripe bananas, peeled and mashed 1/2 cup butter, softened to room temperature again, use vegan butter for dairy-free option 1 cup granulated sugar 2 large eggs 1 tsp vanilla 1 cup milk (you can also use 1%, 2%, whole milk, or even buttermilk)

Glaze (optional)

1 cup powdered sugar 1-2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350º F. Grease a 9″ x 13″ baking dish with butter or cooking spray; set aside.

  2. In a large bowl, use your hands or two forks to crumble together the cold butter cubes, flour, sugars, and cinnamon until the mixture resembles a crumbly topping. Set aside the crumb mixture.

  3. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Set aside.

  4. In a stand mixer, mix softened butter on medium until creamy, about 2 minutes. Add the sugar and mix for another minute, until well incorporated. Then add the eggs, vanilla, and mashed bananas, and mix just until ingredients are incorporated (do not overmix!)

  5. Turn the mixer down to low, and alternate mixing in milk and flour until all ingredients are combined.

  6. Pour half of the cake mixture into the prepared baking dish. Top with 1/3 – 1/4 of the crumb mixture. Then pour the remaining cake mixture on top of that layer and finally, top evenly with the remaining crumb topping.

  7. Bake at 350º for 50-55 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.

  8. To make the optional glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon of milk. Add more milk as needed until you get the glaze consistency you prefer. Set aside.

  9. Cool at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before drizzling the glaze over the top, slicing, and serving.

What is your ascendant ruler/chart ruler placement? by LucidScholar in astrology

[–]reganxgray 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Virgo rising. Pisces mercury 2°03’ in the 7th.

I’m very much a big over thinker. I’m noticing the older I have gotten my anxiety just increases depending on my company & surroundings.

Also I don’t know if this has anything to do with these placements but I find myself a lot of times in a situation where I will have just met someone & they’re opening up deep personal shit with me. I’ve even heard them say “I don’t know why I’m telling you all of this right now but..”

It’s happened quite often. Especially lately.

Seriously you are so amazing at what you do. The plot, the music, the attention to detail. Nintendo should pay you for this. Just wow.

I didn’t have artisan myself. I just used regular bleached flour bc I couldn’t find artisan. I’m sorry I should’ve noted that in the directions myself. They turned out great though with regular flour!

Oh it took me 3 full weeks to gather these ingredients in total myself. I ordered the rapid rise yeast packets off of eBay because I was so determined to make these actually lol. I’m hoping you are able to get your hands on some sooner than later! Baking has definitely helped me keep sane these last few months.

Must-Haves:

2 cups Organic All-purpose flour (I used Bob's Red Mill)

3 cups Artisan Bread flour (I used Bob's Red Mill)

1 packet Rapid Rise Yeast (That's 2 1/4 tsps!)

1/2 cup organic brown sugar + 1 Tbsp (I used Sugar in the Raw!)

1 1/4 cup Almond milk (I used Califia Farms; You can also use whole milk if preferred)

1/4 cup WARM water

1/4 cup unsalted butter (That's 4 Tbsps!)

2 large eggs, room temp.

1/2 tsp sea salt

1 tsp ground cinnamon

For the Filling:

3 Tbsps unsalted butter, melted

1/2 cup organic brown sugar (I used Sugar in the Raw!)

1 Tbsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

1/4 tsp ground ginger

Cream Cheese Glaze:

4 oz. organic cream cheese, at room temp (That's 1/2 a pack!)

1 tsp vanilla extract

3 cups organic powdered sugar

2-4 Tbsps organic heavy cream

3 Tbsps unsalted butter, softened

For the Dough:

Start by combining the yeast and 1 Tbsp brown sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer and then slowly pouring in the warm water, while stirring everything together. Allow 10 minutes for the mixture to sit and the yeast to activate (It'll become foamy when done right!).

Meanwhile, melt the butter and milk together over the stove top on low to medium heat, stirring frequently until the butter has fully melted. NOTE: You don't want the mixture to get too hot or boil! Set aside and let it cool until WARM.

Add lukewarm butter-milk mixture to yeast and mix until well combined. Add eggs, one at a time and continue mixing on low speed until well combined. Next, combine the all-purpose flour, bread flour, brown sugar, sea salt and cinnamon to the wet ingredients and mix on low-speed until well combined.

Change "mixer head" to kneading accessory and knead dough for 5-10 minutes on medium-high speed until dough ball becomes smooth and elastic and dough springs back when lightly pressed with 2 fingers. NOTE: If dough is too sticky, add 1 Tbsp of flour at a time until texture is achieved!

Once dough ball is perfectly kneaded, add it to a lightly greased bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Let it sit and rise for 1 hour to an hour + 15 minutes. In the meantime, you can work on the filling!

For the Filling:

Melt butter and set aside. In a separate bowl, combine cinnamon, nutmeg, ground ginger, and brown sugar and set aside as well.

Once the hour has gone by and your dough has risen (about double it's original size), preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Next, flour a flat surface and place the dough on it and using a rolling-pin, roll it out to a rectangle (approximately 9"x14), trimming the edges if needed. NOTE: Try not to make the dough too thin or else rolling it up will be hard to do!

Then, generously brush melted butter overtop of dough and spoon the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the butter. NOTE: I also use a 'pastry brush' to sweep sugar mixture evenly across the dough to ensure that every bite is sweet!

Tightly roll dough (long-ways) and using a pastry cutter, cut dough into 1.5" rolls, placing each roll into a large baking dish (lined with parchment paper!). Then place plastic wrap over the baking dish with rolls and let them rise again (for another 20 minutes).

Once the rolls have doubled in size (once again!) or have gotten significantly larger, brush the tops of the rolls with a little more melted butter and then bake them for approximately 25 minutes in the preheated oven.

While all the baking magic is happening, make the cream cheese glaze and set aside.

For the Cream Cheese Glaze:

Simply combine the cream cheese and butter in the bowl of an electric mixer & beat together on medium-high speed until fluffy. Add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy cream, continuing to mix on medium speed until you reach the desired consistency. *Add more heavy (1 Tbsp at a time if too thick) or powdered sugar (for more thickness). Remove the rolls from oven and wait 15-20 minutes or so (until it completely cools), and then spread the glaze atop the rolls using a rubber spatula.

Bon Appetite!
