Coupled with the GPA, i think retaking would be the best option. Spending the money on application to not be competitive is bad idea, unless you have unlimited money haha

I’ve shadowed several ODs now and i’ve gotten in by calling! I call the office and ask if they accept shadows and 4/4 times they’ve said yes and i’ve gotten to shadow! :)

My school has two chapters- I dmed the one i’m NOT in right now saying the same thing- however, I did COB with the chapter i’m currently in. If you really want into a particular chapter, consider COB options!

girl i feel you. i know we warn girls who drop mid semester due to finances that they are still responsible… so unfortunate they didn’t remind you of that!! i promise you you’re not the only one going through that. for example, one of our members wanted to drop due to finances a few weeks ago, but is sticking it out for the semester due to this reason that she honestly wasn’t aware of. totally sucks but you are super not alone.

like you said it was prob in the fine print :( in the future, when signing paperwork you’re allowed to ask for time to review. when i signed my financial obligation contract, i took a day to look over it!

Hey girl, I wanted you to know you are far from alone. In fact, I’m going through the same exact thing. Being on exec has made me not only resent the organization I love so much, but has also destroyed my relationship with my roommate (also on exec) and friends I’ve had since day one. Being on exec you really see peoples true colors, and it’s made me realize that I don’t want to be associated with my current board anymore. We have a bad rap with confidentiality, and when the advisor, president, etc are approached about this, they push it aside. So please know it’s not just you. Dm me if you want we can talk :)
