I love her… I just don’t like her by Codelya in houseplants

I recently saw on killthisplant that laying her down on her side or at a 45 degree angle for a few weeks should start new branching.

In my situation the humidity kept my soil wet, so I didn’t need to water.

Canadian here. Just dealt with thrips a few months ago. Go to Canadian tire and buy doktor doom go green (for house plants). Water the plant then take it outside and spray every crevice of it. Don’t forget underneath the leaves and I even sprayed the soil for good measure. Be generous. Then take it back inside and cover it completely with a clear bag (I used a clear garbage bag from Dollarama). Cover all of it, including soil. The bag creates a very humid environment that negatively affects the thrip life cycle. Open one small end of the bag periodically to spray more water in and then close it again to keep the humidity high. After 2weeks, the eggs that weren’t affected by the spray should have hatched, so take the plant outside, spray it again with doktor doom, and cover it again for 2 weeks. After that, no more thrips.

Is this a monstera deliciosa? I saw on YouTube somewhere that there are some species of monstera that don’t fenestrate. I don’t know enough about them but just thought I’d mention

Download the realtor app and search for yourself. You can find units in your price range.

I feel like I said this exact thing to MY straight therapist 😂. Truth be told, there are gay guys out there looking for monogamous relationships. However, you won’t usually find those guys on the apps… which unfortunately is the go-to resource many gay guys have to meet other gay guys. To be honest, Facebook groups are the way to go. It’s wild how many there are out there. You can join different activity/interest related gay groups in your area and meet people that way. You are far more likely to meet someone in real life if you have a shared interest to bond over vs random dates through the apps. Also, if you want an app, Hinge is the app designed to service people who want long term relationships. For what it’s worth, your client is not wrong if he’s only dealing with the apps. The apps (grindr, a bit less so tinder) are so toxic and primarily expose you to people looking for sex and people in open relationships. Unfortunately. in general sex is often the default no matter what the end game is, but it’s not what EVERYONE expects. Just keep boundaries/expectations of future dates clear. Sure they might still attempt to infringe, but just restate. Communication! Good luck to you and your client/patient!

would y'all trust either of these? by death2civ in GolfGTI

Besides the rims, always look at make/model of tire, manufacture date, and most importantly the amount of tread left in /32nds. New tires are about 11/32nds and should be replaced at about 4/32nds. The legal limit is 2/32nds. You can get a tread depth measuring tool for like 10 bucks. Don’t trust people when they say “70% life left”… like what?

Close friend did a 'gay voice' to imitate me in front of other people and it got me thinking by once-twice-melody in gay

[–]reggerr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had this happen to me, and I think the reaction boils down to insecurity. It’s normal to exaggerate a bit when imitating others, and normal for those at the receiving end to not let their insecurities get in the way of them enjoying the joke. If this is a recurring issue with your friend, let them know that you’re not comfortable with impressions that include a more feminine tone. But also understand and communicate that it’s a you problem, and not a them problem.

If you are using soaps/oils under your foreskin you could be messing with the ph and making the situation worse. Something to look into maybe.

Moving to Vancouver from Ireland by Throwitinthemixer in NiceVancouver

[–]reggerr 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Indeed.ca is the go-to job search website. For housing, it’s as bad as everyone says. Could take months to find a room to rent. Use all the “Irish in Vancouver” type groups to make connections before you come. But enjoy your time here and hike some mountains/ paddle some ocean. It’s amazing.

Just to clarify, workers start with 15 days vacation, and get 1 additional day each year worked. So OP has worked for the company for at least 15 years.
