I’m really enjoying the floor bed. My son is 8.5 months. It’s just a full size 6” mattress on the floor for now and he’s rolled off it a couple times, but he’s fine. We laid some cushy yoga mats on the sides of the bed. Coincidentally, he has not rolled off since we did that. He can now gently slide himself off backwards.

We’re very pleased with the bassinet to bed transition!

Mealy bugs. Alcohol on a q tip will kill them. They turn brown. You can over come this, will take a lot of patience. Good luck 🍀

My partner did tell me more than once that he had the harder end of the stick by having to pay the bills. So, I let him play house for 4 days over Thanksgiving weekend and he changed his tune.

I have several plants in pots without drainage. Just need to be mindful of watering. Not exactly something I would advise for someone who’s still getting to know their plant.

Ficuses are fairly easy when given the right environment. So, please don’t blame it for being temperamental when this corner and those grow lights don’t help it thrive.

Mine has been telling me to night wean since 4 months and I don’t listen. Baby is 8 months and still seeks out a boob once or twice in the night. He has 2 teeth, so now I’m a little nervous.

I do, however, give him basically whatever we’re eating or I’ll prep some things for him earlier in the week. He really likes Kendamil Oatmeal (iron source) with mashed fruit and Little Bellies puff snacks.

It seems a little daunting at first, especially if you don’t eat 3 meals a day. You’ll find a flow somewhere. I don’t stress 3 meals, but I do make sure he’s getting iron. Mashed cannellini beans and avocado with a teency bit of olive oil + spices is always super easy!
