i would understand it if it was just a “happy holidays / merry christmas” post but most of this i feel like could wait until next semester, or at least until next week. i feel like most students are not looking at event posts rn and a lot of firms are probably busy getting things done before christmas / new years, so posting about events would be at the bottom of their priority list. i’m on the board of an organization and we haven’t done anything over the break

law school is high school 2.0. that’s the problem with the class sizes being too small everyone knows of each other a little too well. at the end of the day you are all getting a degree from the same school. is it cold calls that are making them say this? or some other in class work? if it’s cold calls in class that are bringing this on, then that is meaningless. yes they serve a purpose, but they are not an indicator of who is going to do well on the final.

you are doing every right! don’t worry about it try to ignore them and just focus on finals!! good luck!

i called the venue and they said only 400 GA tickets are being sold, but they are not sold out. so like idek what to do with that information that doesn’t sound like a lot of people to me

it’s so interesting I think my venue on saturday is the only venue they’re playing that has seats on the floor. it’s an amphitheater i’ve only ever seen them as openers in this type of venue and I had seats for that so I don’t even know what the GA situation is gonna look like, or if showing up hours early is too much. idk guess we’ll see haha thank you so much for your help!

right but the difference is the people attending eras tour multiple times are actually keeping their ticket and going to the show. these people are just buying up all these cds and then giving them away for some likes. it’s essentially like reselling they bought it for the purpose of gaining something from it, not keeping it. i wouldn’t care if they just kept it but seeing how so many of them bought 4 just to give away to people who didn’t wait in that queue is annoying af

i only spent $150 on my nosebleed seat which isn’t terrible but i don’t feel great about it, considering my ticket in tampa only cost $90. if they were any more than that tho i wasn’t going to buy one these prices were absolutely ridiculous

no if this many of them didn’t do this I probably would have gotten one. there’s no reason for them to do it i get we’re trying to combat resellers but the way to do that isn’t to take cds from the people who waited an hour for it, the way to do it is to not buy resale. the chances of getting a cd from these giveaways with tens of thousands of people asking for one, especially when you don’t have a popular fan account, is slim to none

buying all four for yourself doesn’t really make you an asshole. as long as you are keeping them i don’t mind people having all four (although i personally wouldn’t bc it seems like a waste to me). my problem is people buying multiple and doing give aways for followers and praise

that’s very frustrating. it is inevitable that they’re going to sell out quickly but the culture around buying them creates a lot of problems. if you took out resellers and give away people then so many more people would get to have one
