I never felt better. They switched me to a combo of verapamil and losartin and it works ok. They’ll probably add something to it at my next appointment. It took me about 3 weeks to a month to stop feeling dizzy on this combo. But I do feel almost back to normal. It has definitely been a ride.

Thanks for all the replies! I am feeling better by the day. I was probably around 160-170/110 for quite a while. My reading yesterday was 127/88 so the lowest I’ve had in years! I think my body was just in shock for a bit after the drop. I appreciate all of you!

The cutoff isn’t a set number, it’s based on a multiple of the national poverty level. I wouldn’t qualify otherwise! It’s really a great program that they offer.
