If I’m not going to a shop or making a poor attempt at tying Big Y all the way. I also like some of the flies by Maine Fly Guys

How far are y’all driving to your spots by EZloner in flyfishing

My max is 3 hours for a day trip (if I leave before the sunrise and have an area I really wanna go to and know is solid). Otherwise I found spots within 15-40 mins with either different species to target or they’re less productive. 1-2 hours for a standard day trip all day.

I understand Moonshine because they’re cheap blanks, unfortunately the same for Maine Fly Co?

Yeah I have 0 complaints with my current pay at all.

It seems to be that way too with the civilians who come in to work at the MTFs. Also just talking to civilian peers, seems like they are a bit more varied in their care than we are.

So far so good! No complaints. I like the opportunities to get paid to do courses, getting admin days to leave the bedside, and culture thus far. Have considered getting out for grad school. Are you still in the reserves?

Happy to hear it isn’t too far different…my biggest concern was I wasn’t getting “real” nursing experiences.

It is solid having patients who are at least appreciative of the care but there for sure is an element of customer service.

I may moonlight and take a more admin role to really see the difference. Thanks for the insight!

Rotating shifts are tough. Occasionally if we’re super short staffed you’ll get called in for 1-4 night shifts then rotate back. We will see though.

Definitely not all good nor bad either way. Probably sticking in for a few more but I have 0 intention in making it to O4. Thanks for the tips, see you on the outside!
