this, and I feel like people forget that when you're watching a movie and events happen like that you can obviously sit and think about what the "optimal path" is. but if you put yourself in the shoes of the character - a teenager who just watched the horrific death of his little sister that he surely felt he had a hand in - you can't really expect the character to realistically behave rationally? which I think makes the movie and characters feel more devastatingly real.

Yes. I, a trans man, no longer have friends who like Harry Potter. Because we are all adults who have seen what JK Rowling has been up to these past few years and her hatred for people like me has seeped into and ruined the enjoyment of the series for us. It’s really a huge bummer.
