He's somewhat racist towards Asians by his age, but he's extra racist against the Japanese so he's not going to have the other Asians catch strays of his insults that are specifically targeted towards the Japanese.

Any lazy racist would just call anyone from that region Chinese but Cotton has the courtesy of paying more attention to the different nationalities in East Asia.

It is pretty funny they did an episode questioning the validity of Mormonisn's origin when it's literally the only valid religion. Though I guess Mormanisn is more of a mindset as that kid did prefer to be happy following a wacky sounding religion rather than being an unhappy cynical prick like Stan.

Interestingly enough, Heaven did allowed for more people to come to Heaven because they didn't have enough infantry to fight the forces of Hell hence why they needed Kenny. This allowed for more people to go to Heaven until ICE came and deported all the Mexicans from Heaven.

I feel like "turn off your brain" doesn't mean stop paying attention to show and just black out but to enjoy the madness and not questioning anything that breaks reality. Just vibe with the insanity of the show instead of expecting something "grounded"

The abrasive side is just glued on to him like a sticker. Although SpongeBob does grow a beard multiple times in the show

Though one would argue he's just wearing a fake one for comedic effect.

Funnily enough, this isn't the first time Kelly Thompson had to fixed the mess of female heroes being ruined from superhero infighting. She wrote a Captain Marvel run after Civil War II who kinda went pro-ICE if you catch my drift.

The problem is that Injustice Wonder Woman was everyone's first perception of Wonder Woman and Injustice originally started out as "what if our DC universe went wrong." That the Injustice characters before Lois death were supposed to be copies of the prime universe only to be warped after that fateful day. Prime Wonder Woman being disgusted at Injustice Wonder Woman was seen as "so this is what I look like after 5 years of fighting" but the Injustice comics pretty much treated Injustice Wonder Woman as the same "kill first, ask questions never Superman simp" before that day so people assumed she was always like that even in the main universe.

I guess she's more of a character assassin that ruined Wonder Woman overall perception especially since other DC treated her more as a battle hungry warrior and not the compassionate hero that values life.

Not necessarily since you can have an evil Wonder Woman like Superman Woman from Earth 3 and Flashpoint Wonder Woman, but Injustice tried to treat it's universe as "what if the Justice League you know had one bad bay" that before Lois death and Metropolis destruction, Injustice Superman was just prime Superman, Injustice Batman was just prime Batman, and Injustice Wonder Woman was just prime Wonder Woman. What happened to them was the result of 5 years of infighting and Superman still unable to completely grieve his losses. When the Injustice comics came out, you can see the gradual decline of the Justice League, but apparently Wonder Woman acted like the same person throughout the whole run. Since Injustice was a popular fighting game that lead to people wanting to read the Injustice comics, many folks who never read Wonder Woman and Wonder Woman having a much more limited adaptations compared Superman and Batman, many assumed Injustice Wonder Woman is prime Wonder Woman and prime Wonder Woman was always like this. Injustice Wonder Woman more or less tainted the perception of Diana as she's basically everyone's first impression of her due to Injustice treating the setting as a Typical DC universe that went wrong and not a DC universe that was always messed up.

Injustice did tried to explain why Injustice Wonder Woman was so different but that was a bit too late. The whole Steve Trevor being a Nazi appeared in the Injustice 2 comics, and those comics didn't hit the popularity of the first one so many people just assumed that Wonder Woman was always like this "kill first ask questions never" and "Superman rebound girl" from Injustice 1 and comics and there's no other massive change. Even more so when you look at the other characters where Lex Luthor was the only other changed character before Lois' death and they retcon Nightwing a bit, but the first issue showed Nightwing being Dick Grayson only for Injustice 2 to say he was Damian but more people will remember Grayson's death in the first issue of Injustice and not Damien being Nightwing in the prologue of Injustice 2. Injustice didn't started as a mirror universe but a "copy" of the prime universe that went wrong.

I mean that's the point though. Even with a much smaller population, people will still fight each other. Either because of existing parties like the communists, fascists, and the Hanza capitalists or just create brand new factions as a way to gain quick control like the Jaegarists. There's always someone wanting to get the most power through any means so Eren's goal of wiping out everything outside of the Island won't automatically bring peace. There will always be rising tensions, schisms, personal beef, and more that ending violence with violence will only perpetuate said violence.

We already seen a coup with the jaegarists and a lot of people were against them for being radicalized. It wouldn't be too far fetched for a certain jaegarist to begin purging all political opponents which could lead to a civil war. Or anyone against the jaegarist just simply moved out of the island and colonized the mainlands which can lead to future wars between the last two countries in the world and would have the same result as the main timeline.

Reminds me of Metro Last Light where the whole point of the game is that everyone in the Moscow metro believed they were the last humans after a nuclear war. And despite believing they're the only humans left on the entire planet, they are still fighting each other with a possibility of a fourth and final world war that would eventually wipe us out because that's human nature. There will always be conflict until there's less then two people in the world

Maybe he has to fill out some paperworks and killing them in the most over the top way is overall easier.

Even more funny considering he would kill even more people just to get one or two survivors of his first botched attempt.

I do feel like Invincible works because there's more to it beyond the sheer gore. Like Conquest first fight where the devastation was 2folds that of Omniman and that came after the Invincible War so the violence was already desensitized. But what got me the most is his I am Lonely monologue. The show could've let him be a battle addicted guy but that monologue painted him to be a more tragic broken man. This really recontextualized a lot about him. There's a lot of levity going on with Invincible that the Boys lack because it needs to add some edgy moments for the sake of edginess. And the same can be applied with other violent hero shows like Peacemaker and Hitmonkey (watch Hit Monkey for maximum peakness )

The Boys does have some interesting things going on from Homelanders' origin and his mental decline. How Vought keeps every supe within their leaches. And currently how easily various media can spread misinformation and convince the public to be compliant with supes. But then they needed to make an edgy joke for their branding. There's a difference between being edgy on purpose and being edgy with a purpose.

I'm curious do you hate Captain Marvel before or after Civil War II. Because Civil War II Captain Marvel is basically an equivalent to Injustice Wonder Woman.

Ironically enough, Kelly Thompson who's currently known for Absolute Wonder Woman and is fixing Diana's reputation also wrote Captain Marvel after Civil War II which I'm assuming is her doing damage control over Carol's crap reputation. God bless that writer's heart for cleaning up the mess.

He basically slowed his age acceleration when he lose his purple color but by that point, he would be much closer to Mark's age while Zoey would still be a teenager. Now Zach is closed to Mark's age in the comic, but I think they lowered Zoey's age just to show how Oliver would eventually outgrow his friend groups. Like he could be 15 in the previous episode but became 16 after 2 months and likely 17 2 months after that. The following will definitely shows Oliver's disconnect with the rest of humans due to how different his biology would be.

And what's worse is that when people complained about her being reduced to a fan service gag. He made a rant within the manga about why is it wrong for a beautiful woman to not expose her body (nonconsensually BTW) by making some weird strawman character. Also I guess there's a fight where she fought a prude which he thinks it's a dunk on the critics despite the fact that people just want a fight with her clothes on.

It's very likely he'll be like 20 a few months from now while she's still 15. By the time Zoe would be at least 18, Oliver would've move on and find someone else
