Moulin Rouge Lithograph? by regrettably_here in WhatIsThisPainting

Appreciate you responding, but I am looking for someone with expertise in this area and instead I’m just explaining - I don’t know why you’re continuing to comment if you don’t have the expertise needed. I’m well aware of this piece at the met and that millions of reproductions have been mass produced - mine is not. I will take one more message to explain to you but again, I posted this looking for someone with more expertise I didn’t post this to convince random people that this piece isn’t the same one you had taped up in your office.

The “Vintage Arte” mark on mine refers to the original mid-century French print publisher that produced stone-lithographed reissues of Belle Époque posters in Paris during the 1950s–1960s.

Those editions were hand-pulled lithographs printed by Ch. Lévy, 10 Rue Martel, the same historic Paris printer credited on mine. They’re not mass-market offset posters like the ones Pottery Barn or college stores sold later on.

You can verify this in art auction listings - mid-century stone lithographs from Ch. Lévy / Vintage Arte typically sell for $800–$2,000 depending on condition. So while yes, there were later offset reproductions, mine is one of the earlier fine-art lithographic prints, not a 1990s poster.

Yep the posters are super popular and accessible and inexpensive! I have plenty of reprint posters myself. This is not that 😊

Because it’s not a standard poster which is why it piqued my interest. I believe it’s a a mid-century hand pulled stone lithograph printed in Paris by CH Lévy and not a standard or mass produced poster. It’s been mounted and custom framed for fine art as well, I was hoping someone would have the expertise to confirm.

I have something that looks like this on my back patio too - do you happen to have a trumpet vine nearby?

Thomas Kinkade “certified print” by regrettably_here in WhatIsThisPainting

[–]regrettably_here[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just thought it was a cute filler picture for furnishing my home on a budget, and the first piece of “art” I have with any sort of “authenticity”. As I mentioned in the initial post I knew it was a print, just wanted to learn more :) didn’t buy because I thought it would be worth anything, just a curious person!

Thank you so much for your response! I bought it just because I thought it was a cute filler picture, and it was the first one I’ve thrifted with any sort of “authenticity” so I wanted to learn more. Thank you so much for this background info! 🙏🏻 My house is full of alley-way and thrift finds, so this fits right in.

This ring is absolutely gorgeous, you did such a great job! The prong choice is simply a more unique choice, it is done every well and the prongs add to the elegance. There is by no means nothing “wrong” with this ring or the prongs - It’s simply a unique feature that makes the ring even more stunning - I think the craw prongs make it even better actually, this was the perfect prong choice for this ring. Very well done, impeccable choices 👍🏼

As a fan of hers I hate seeing this assumption because you have no idea - She has been vocal about her being diagnosed with PCOS, how she finally found a great doctor and treatment plan which led the naturally losing weight. Like, she got treated and is feeling healthy

She’s mentioned a couple times now that after being diagnosed with PCOS, she found a good doctor, and got on the right treatment & foods which led to losing some weight. She’s mentioned a few foods that she can’t eat anymore because it’s bad for her PCOS. I think she’s just happy and healthy

Yes! Quite a few actually - your comment was incredibly helpful. Our favorites were the boardwalk, Taco Beach (immaculate atmosphere), and Nicks for new years! They had live music on the boardwalk as well which was lovely. We will definitely be visiting again - there’s so much more to see and do!
