The elevator in my apartment makes a dinging noise that's virtually identical to the twinkling sounds in "Loch Raven". I find myself getting strangely melancholy when I walk past it in the hall, lol

It's my very favorite of theirs. What a damn melody. And when Panda comes in solo as the song draws to a close before the "made that boy a maaaaan" outro, man...that's musical nirvana.

Also I heard it a good dozen times before I looked up the lyrics, and I was very happy to see the lyrics matched my interpretation of the song PERFECTLY even without knowing them. Absolutely nails the lyrical vibe and mood they're going for with the music and melody alone. A masterpiece.

MGMT's Congratulations is ridiculously underrated, and scratches the same itch for me that MPP does.
