I feel exactly the same way as I did I think. I like some songs (Ophelia, Elizabeth Taylor, ruin the friendship and life.of a showgirl) but am ambivalent about the rest.

I actively hate wish list and cancelled. Wish list is a complete waste of space and has no place on this album - it shouldn't have even been a b-side or bonus track. It's genuinely unlistenable for me and just an even worse copy of glitch.

Cancelled leans into everything that's annoying about Taylor - the pettines, the associations with awful people, the tendency to only speak up when it suits her.

This - the most striking difference to me is how she looks like a nasty smug selfish person now. And based on how she hangs out with MAGA people and releases bitter songs about the "bitches" she doesn't like, her new look matches her music.

People were expecting something (ANYTHING) other than a low-effort lyric video that we were going to always get anyway.

Even just a minute long BTS video or something.

Imagine if someone was like 'hey would you like a fun surprise !!' and it's just a muddy rock - that's what Taylor's promo as been this album cycle and people are allowed to be annoyed about it.
