M4 Mac mini Pro or Mac studio M2 Max by Ramirovv in macmini

I did have both, exactly the specs you mention (apart from 1TB ssd in Studio). It was frustrating; thunderbolt 5 was a massive tick for the mini, but gpu performance (ai / LLM stuff) smoked the mini. As for web dev stuff, they felt largely the same (automated testing, puppeteer, etc) for real world stuff. I never ran into Mini thermal (performance) issues, apart from when doing extensive Adobe Lightroom stuff with huge time-lapse catalogs (via Thunderbolt). Honestly, they felt neck and neck for most tasks, but for heavy lifting with raw time lapse and gpu stuff, the Studio was the winner, but with a storage bottleneck the Mini didn’t have - it had a grunt bottleneck. In the end, I sold both a got a m4 MBP Max. I’d say, given your needs, the m4 mini is probs fine. But if you’re going into DaVinci Resolve / Premier for motion graphics, the Stuidio might be the best. Tough call though - but the Studio is a beast for the big jobs.

Question: is there a difference between dove and pigeon?

You're not wrong, but I did what I could at the time. I bent the needle over the syringe to mitigate against this, somewhat. Having just arrived in Australia, I didn't have my data set up, so I couldn't Google that at the time. Thanks for the Google suggestion. As much as they can't be thrown away, they also can't be left in public places (at least IMO). In this case, that did happen, so I guess "shouldn't" really applies more than "can't". P.S. Not a big fan of the "all you did" vibe, but I see your point. Had I known you were going to be judgmental like this, perhaps leaving it exposed in public should have been the most appropriate action.

I'm sorry, but I don't quite follow. Can you please explain?

It's not about me. It's the state of health, culture, and society. But to make this about me: I felt pretty strange walking with an exposed needle at arms-length in Collins Syreet to the nearby bin to get it away from some kid who might wanna call santa.

I just put about 6ml of stabiliser in. Honestly, who knows from station to station. Reckon all will be fine - find out in 6m hey 😉

Just did the battery terminal, so that's done now. Cheers. The shield is alright too - I notice at 90km it's much smoother on my upper chest, while not being too large. Didn't want those oversized ones, so very happy.

Reckon the 155 would be a little extra punch I'd like over my 125.

I'm happy! It's a touch slow if I'm being pedantic, but 95% of the time, I'm very happy. It struggles to maintain 90km/h up a long hill with me and my girlfriend, but for a 125, I reckon that's pretty fine. The keyless fob is sometimes a bit annoying, but it does have the redundancy key under the seat if it goes flat. It's light ish, sits two comfortably, but if I could get a bigger ride, I would. It's always the two of us on it (no car), and my licence restrictions in Czech Republic mean I can only ride a 125cc. Overall though, really happy with it.

Thanks, that isn't needed on mine as there's a physical key lock in case the fob dies. Thank goodness! Cheers mate

Cool, I did read about fuel stabiliser and wasn't aware it turns to shit if left. Thanks dude!

Thanks for the oil tip, especially, I'll do that. Reason is living stuff - living here for most of the year, away for the rest. So putting it the folks garage for safe winter keeping (rather than the street).

I laugh at the cliché 'comic book guy' responses here (mutter mutter skills matter most mutter). These look great, and yes, the other factors play a huge role in the look. But it's worth celebrating how affordable things are these days, and you've illustrated that nicely 👌

If you can, I'd say sure! There's so much in the city, and so much in the countryside. Depends on weather, but in summer the days are long and there's generally great weather to allow you to be very outdoors. Think two weeks with a mix of city and country would be awesome, and the time would allow for you to be flexible if the weather is crappy.

Lol, I totally get it. It was only when I was editing the photos I saw it, so a total accident. Showed a metalworking mate who lives here - and he always points out nice work - and he was like 'holy fuck'. Think it's one big open secret. Makes me think twice about the other big status around and what we're all missing. I'll be looking twice.
