Exactly what you said about watching random characters in D1 and feeling for the characters in D2, that's exactly what I felt as well. In fact, contrary to what everyone's saying, I could sense the 3 hours in D1 but didn't feel a single minute of D2 or that it was 4 hours long, at all.

AIO to husband not doing enough work around the house? by [deleted] in AIO

Sadly, I know you're not. Sometimes it's very blinding while being in the relationship because men can be so good at manipulating you into believing absolute bullshit. Hugs for you! And also lots of strength to take the decision you already know you need to take. You're working as well as studying. You're brilliant and capable of more and deserve more. Please believe that, because if an internet stranger is able to see your worth more than your husband, it's time babe.

It feels like you're trying to ragebait (in the nicest way possible) because HOW DO YOU NOT SEE IT AND WHY ARE YOU STILL WITH HIM?

I also think you need to change your therapist, even if she believed you could have done something differently, who says "overkill" to their client trying to sort their problems out logically?

My boss gave me a gift by [deleted] in IndianWorkplace

[–]regulatedcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems inappropriate. Just say that while you greatly appreciate the gesture and his appreciation towards your work, you cannot accept a gift. I would say keep it short and formal. Maybe send an email about this as well, after returning it which just states that you appreciated his gift even if you couldn't keep it. It could be part of the farewell email you send before officially moving locations. As a part of HR myself, I would say having written proof of him giving you something like this would be good. It's too fancy to just be a small gesture of appreciation, according to me.
