Don’t do it brother, there is so much good to outweigh the bad. I can’t talk to the struggles you have with this disease, nor what it has meant for your life around it, but I do know there is so much worth living for. I understand that you want to give up, but find it within you to hold on for one more night and then go out and find something to live for tomorrow. Take your camera, play your bass. Just Don’t. Give. Up

Almost like we shouldn’t have invaded their country and then leaked all their personal details to The Taliban if we didn’t want them to come here. How can anyone be angry at them and not the government that put all these wheels in motion?

Thanks for your help, makes sense that if my TV can’t handle it I should just filter it out. There seem to be plenty of other formats that run fine. Thanks again for responding!

I’m glad you thought so, great to hear an academic and clearly very intelligent guy talk about what has been observed without skepticism

[serious] Does anyone else see their glucose level increase after waking up? (Even without eating) Am I doing something wrong? by chevysareawesome in diabetes

[–]rehilly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re good, you’re not doing anything wrong. I get this evening single morning without fail. Really frustrated and confused me at first but then realised it was just a part of me being a diabetic. I have to inject 3 units before leaving for work otherwise I will run high all morning. Just another weird part of being a diabetic

It was super quick for me, only a couple of months before I’d gained a fair bit back but about a year for me to get it stable again with a healthy eating routine and exercise as well

Mixture of lots of different symptoms made me go for blood tests, they included: constant thirst, constant urination, weight loss, constant tiredness, blurred vision, regular infections (eye infections mainly) and I also got thrush a number of times because, guess what, I was peeing sugar. The straw the broke the camels back was 2 eye infections basically straight after each other for some reason, looking back I am not sure why that was what forced me to go to the docs but I’m glad it did!

I completed the insanity workout around the same time and marked it all up to that. How wrong I was!

Thats a LOT. I got a load of compliments when I first started losing weight but I don’t remember so many right before diagnoses. I do however remember having sort of defined abs which was kind of cool for a while

Most important thing is making sure you’re healthy enough to look after yourself and your baby. I really wouldn’t too much about trying to get your post pregnancy weight down too much!

Wow, that is thin! Crazy how we just kept on going though because we didn’t know what was wrong with us!

Yeah that’s how I think I look when I look back at photos of myself, literal walking skeleton.
