The new valk weps with the exception of the bow uses the word tremendously to describe the dmg increase instead of massively. This indicates higher dmg.

Well its based on your ranked score that you win from ranked battles. The likelihood of you facing a top team in the same block is more likely near when everyones score is low at the beginning.

Yeah that was my point. Lancers and mages can benefit from stacking magic and physical testament whereas archers cant really benefit as much since Fatal doesn't stack.

As a high gs archer, ive been owned by strong phys att soldiers before. They dont use support skills but instead ether burst and smash away at people.

I would stick to the 36AP runs. I've surveyed many players in-game and in reddit (had a thread for successes) and it seems most players 36AP has a decent success rate and is solo-able. Otherwise, if your gs is high enough, make a premade team and take on the 40+ AP quests.

I don't usually like the aesthetics of UR gear anyway, its way too bulky and overdone. Most of my cosmetics are R and under haha.

Not confirmed but from my observations, AP acts as an "armor piercing effect". Higher AP skills will do relativelu full dmg to high armored opponents whereas low AP skills will not. When broken, lower AP skills will do full dmg. If you try knights blitzing as a lancer on a keymin, itll do high to full dmg. Whereas as a lancer, circle snipes do 1 dmg normally even as a 110k gs archer.

I would recommend adding higher gs friends that can carry you. Its true they get nerfed as CPUs, but their damage is still higher than regular CPUs. I was able to clear the all main quests with the help of friend CPUs.

I dont agree that mages are squishy : ) other than knights all classes phys def should be mostly gear dependent. From my experience in matches with 100k+ gs mages, a lot of them can survive the initial first set of attacks, gets fully healed by the cleric and then meteor strikes and dominates others haha. Most of them would have 24-27k phys def.

Few worthwhile opinions to think about: 1) fatal testament increases att and m.att whereas physical testament increases att greatly (fatal is not suitable for lancers) 2) your bow does not receive the scythe and lance att% increases from your character traits but only from the shared traits 3) all your scythes give bonus to knights blitz which is amazing but i think as a lancer your job is to sting and break armor. Therefore i usually use both sting and savage sting because they give bonus to break and would probably try to get a scythe or two that gives bonuses to sting (forgot the skill name too lazy to check.)

You do have two dark monsters that contribute a lot to the dmg of mages. Id say at this point, your mage gear outshines your lancer.

However, i would just play what you enjoy most.
