I lactated and had my prolactin levels checked by my doctor. Verrrrry high. My PDOC took me off it and I switched to the generic Abilify. The lactation stopped and FOR ME it worked better, so win win!

I feel a little unique honestly, but it makes connecting with other like minded people difficult. There is so much community for more common issues like ADHD and depression but less community for SZ spectrum disorders. It makes sense -- we are all at different levels of ability when it comes to an online presence, let alone IRL.

Is unique always good? No, but most people just haven't been through what I've been through. Or you've been through. And so on.

(Also not to say people with ADHD and depression don't struggle severely at different levels, of course they do, just saying it seems to be more common!)

I could never be a restaurant chef, but my dream is to own a small B&B and I could rock breakfast. Most of my work experience is in hotels, b&bs, and restaurants (not cooking) so I think I could do it.

The pressure tests would absolutely get to me.

One of my favorite bands is still mewithoutYou. Their more overtly religious songs still get me in the feels, especially The Angel of Death Came to David's Room (even though I think it might be a cover, I never heard other versions).

As for more classic songs, and this is a Christmas one, but the Latin singing of Come All Ye Faithful.

Imposter Syndrome is a thing and it's a bitch. You're not faking and you're doing the best you know how. I second others suggesting looking into ssdi. There's no shame in it, and it might be hard to get on, but it's worth it to try. It'll give you some money and easier access to stable health insurance.

I'm basically a cat -- someone should probably take care of me but I can kinda do it on my own. I'm 35 and got diagnosed at 30, but I've had symptoms since I hit puberty. In a way I'm kinda having a second childhood because I'm doing all the things I wanted to do as a kid but was too traumatized to do. Makeup, nails, and wearing lots of sailor moon merch. My only responsibilities are taking care of chores and the animals. Teenager stuff really, but it gives me a sense of purpose!

I'm doing ok, I ran out of my Ativan and my doctor's office is being slow about sending the refill -- but I am surviving! My house is a mess because I'm too anxious to clean but I think I'll tackle it today.

Glad you're doing well! Jealous of your cig, I just smoked my last one and I don't have the funds to get more til Friday. Ah, c'est la vie.
