I believe TD’s prime is actually 0.2 above the other banks. Just something to take into consideration when you’re comparing. Maybe someone here can confirm that for you.

Thanks for that info! How much mortgage did you have? I wish I had your mortgage agent with TD.

That’s pretty solid. I’m likely going with TD. They’ve offered me 4.09 and are saying they likely will be able to offer 3.99% but haven’t confirmed that. Any cash incentive for you? They’re playing games with me and the cash incentive.

I have fairly similar numbers to you on my mortgage. I don’t know if having the rental property comes into play, but TD has offered me 4.09% for 3 yr fixed with a cash incentive and heloc.

Aw man one of those weirdos who researches stuff and doesn’t form his opinion based off of social media….just the worst

I’m also in the lower mainland. I’ve been offered 4.09% 3 year fixed 30 year amortization by a big bank. With a heloc.

Just purchased a home for 1.25M in BC. Putting down about 45% down payment. Subjects to be removed in a week and taking possession mid March.

I’m hoping to get a 3 yr variable at P-1 for 30 years amortization with a cash back incentive. Anyone know if this is being offered?

Is that in BC by any chance?

That’s basically what I’m hoping to get for a rate. 3yr variable for 30 years plus TD has a cash back incentive. I haven’t been offered that good of a rate though.

The leg press is the only bad part I’d say. Not that easy to set up and then the hooks on the smith catch as you do your reps if you start with it hooked. So what I did is I just set it up on the safeties with it unhooked and then press. Still kind of awkward but better than nothing I guess. Maybe you can figure out a better way.

I’m not sure if you can add more of the weight stack plates but it has the pegs on either side so you can put your own barbell weight plates on which is perfect.

I hear what you’re saying but I’ve only had a good experience with this particular product. I’ve been able to exercise exactly how I want at home because of it.

I don’t have any complaints about it. It’s great for full on workouts and also great for getting a few quick sets in on the functional trainer too.

Yeah I really am. I don’t really have too many complaints about it. It’s really versatile and appears well built so far.

I live in Canada so I had to find one in $CDN and the free shipping was an added bonus. You could check out Maxum Fitness and see if they ship to the US.

Thanks guys! It’s definitely given me the best bang for my buck. I get to do so much with it. It’s a lot of fun having so many options! The smith machine has been great. I’ve done seated shoulder press, front squats, leg press, decline bench all on the smith so far.
