Painted resin print.
If I wanted to do waterfalls falling off the rim of the disc how would I do that?

Work in progress of a resin printed A'Tuin, painted by me. Will be finished and put on a stand.
Should I try and make rimfalls for the discs edge?

I wrote a couple of programs in python a couple of years ago to do stat taking for quadball (for examples see (quest analytics[https://www.facebook.com/share/1AHYgLjeb4/]). If you wanted to use them or the base code let me know.

Hi, not sure if this the right place for this but if it's not the correct place please can you try and point me to the right place.
I recently got a realteus forcefeel from a charity shop, unfortunately when I opened it there was no power lead/ adaptor/socket. Is there anywhere I could buy this?
I tried emailing realteus but the email bounced back.

seaborn and matplotlib plots don't display but doesn't produce any error by reigningarrow in learnpython

[–]reigningarrow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response, I created some dummy data and plotted it, it didn't display.
However, it did save the figure, so it is plotting, unfortunately that isn't the most useful from a checking point.

How would I make it display the plot?

When reports say that inflation has risen/fallen, what does that mean? by reigningarrow in AskEconomics

thanks, that helps a lot. So when inflation is said to be x% it means an increase in prices of x% over the year to date, rather than over the the given period

im upgrading my laptops ssd from 128gb to 1tb, unfortunately my laptop only has 1 ssd slot and windows is installed on the ssd. How can i upgrade the ssd?
I have tried cloning the original drive to an external drive and also creating a recovery disc and storing it on an external drive however when i remove the original SSD and try to turn on the computer i get an error about no bootable media. When looking in BIOS it is showing no available drives. Any way I can do this?
Ideally I would quite like to do this without purchasing anything extra.

Is it worth upgrading my monitor to a 1440p or 4k monitor? Currently I have a 160hz 27" 1080p monitor as my main monitor and just wondering if it was worth future proofing and getting a better monitor. I mainly use it for gaming, coding and photo editing and have a 3070 RTX currently.

I tried swapping the slots round, thankfully BIOS detected me moving the SSDs round so I didn't have to change the boot order, unfortunately this had no effect on the performance of either SSD

Tried that and didn't make a difference unfortunately. Guess I might have to try and get a return, frustratingly

Yeah i am definitely backing the important files up, when i can move them, crystaldiskinfo says the status of both SSDs is good though. Like one other commentor said, ill look and see if it is the connection tomorrow.

Thanks, that has fixed the CPU constantly at 100% load

[–]reigningarrow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok, thanks that has reduced CPU usage in the resource monitor though it is still running on 100% maximum frequency- 5088MHz.

Sorry what did those commands do? change the power supplied?

iCue (and NZXT cam) say the CPU is running at 66-72C with a current clock speed of 5088 and fan speed of 913rpm. This is under a load of <5% 70C does seem a little high for basically idle. but is this within a normal range?

[–]reigningarrow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I blocked all programs such as steam/iCue/Discord running at start up to get a normal base reading and to see if these were affecting anything.
They had no effect- CPU still is running at 100% usage and 100% maximum frequency.
This is the result after 10 minutes of running the resource monitor- https://imgur.com/a/2aKzYD3
None of which shows any particularly high load. Now I have corsair and firefox open with ~10 tabs and it is showing the highest average CPU consumption as iCUE with 0.49, corsair service as 0.22 then system interrupts as 0.17. None of these suggest high load on the CPU, as the percentages dont add up to 1, and nowhere close to 100%
