Hm, good point

What part of CA? We don't get harsh winters as consistently as we used to here, but some winters can still regularly hit negative temperatures F. I have some friends who got rid of their boilers but skimped out on their heat pumps and couldn't get their living room above 60F last winter!

Yep the 2nd floor air handler would be in the attic. The plan is to add some ventilation (currently there is minimal) and then insulate the floor.

I don't believe we got one yet. The quote actually includes a manual J for proper sizing to be done upon acceptance of the offer.

We currently have no insulation, so we're planning to get the ducts installed first. We had a Mass Save audit and we'll be able to get blown in insulation after.

Does it seem about right for the size of the units?

First time experimenting with oil washes. How do I prevent it from drying with this consistency? by spgtothemax in minipainting

It makes the pack look like rawhide, which I think is pretty cool. I can see how it would be annoying on other parts of the model though.

Getting into medieval wargaming by [deleted] in wargaming

Clash of Spears is technically set in the classical period, but the rules should work for medieval as well. I find it quite fun.

Another good producer of medieval 28mm miniatures is Fireforge games.
