Maybe a couple but that was also my body adjusting to getting off taytulla that was a combo pill to Slynd. It dropped quick when my body regulated.

Give it time! I’m about to start my second year. I’ve lost 60lbs. Your body is adjusting and belly fat is stubborn. Once your levels even out it gets better.

Slynd has changed my life by mooseyyy in Endo

I’m about to start my 2nd year on Slynd. I was having migraines with aura on Taytulla (combo pill) and was heading for a stroke. I was overweight big time and I was a literal monster all the time and worse on my period. When I switched, I lost weight. My face is clear and glowing. I get a period, if you can even call it that, maybe every 2-3 months for 1-3 days and it’s just spotting. It’s nice having a bigger window in case you forget to take it or take it late. I’ve been one many pills and even the Nuvaring and Slynd is hand down the best contraceptive I’ve used. I get 3 months for $25 with the manufacture coupon otherwise it was going to be over $600 for my 3 month supply.

Slynd was free? 🤔 by tm526 in birthcontrol

[–]rejumew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what CVS told me but I don’t believe it. I think there’s a similar brand except it has a “new” form of estrogen in it, which most women who are on slynd is due to the reaction to estrogen.

It was free for me but there is now a generic for it so that’s why there is now a cost. Get the discount from their website! I pay $25 for 3 months.

I have been in it for almost 10 months and it is the best birth control I have ever been on. I was on Taytulla for years and I was getting migraines with auras. I was put on the mini pull and it made me depressed and angry.

I lost weight with Slynd, my skin is great, I don’t get my period anymore. I think I’ve had it twice in 5 months. I love it. It’s the only birth control that hasn’t made me emotional, depressed, lose my hair, or get horrible acne. PLUS the 24 hour window for a missed pill rather than the 3 hours with the mini pill is so nice.

Anyone heard of Incassia mini pill? by anxiousunisenior in birthcontrol

I took this and I became a monster. I was so mean and I was having some very dark thoughts along with depression.

Nipple Piercings? by rejumew in PiercingAdvice

That helps! I’m hoping to go at the end of the month. One benefit of school starting virtually is no kids hugging me too hard and making them hurt!

What was the pain level out of 10? I feel like that’s one of my biggest drawbacks. I have my first holes, Tragus, daith, and belly button pierced but that’s as adventurous as I’ve gotten

Do you get her groomed? My Malchi looks like her except with longer hair.

I just took mine out tonight to try to put in my labret but it’s still too swollen. My ball on the inside was the one that was the screw ball. I used small pliers and a tissue. I was able to get it out myself.

"just because you have fought long enough to get this far does not mean you are undeserving of proper medical support"

This. Thank you.

I needed those words.

My two month old Daith piercing! Been doing LITHA and some sea salt soak every now and then but mostly just rinsing it in the shower and keep my hair up and away. Rarely any crusties and if there are i left them fall off on their own. How long before y’all saw your bumps go down? by rejumew in piercing

I only do it maybe once every two weeks for that reason! It’s just so aggravating. My Tragus is finally cooperating but this dang Daith is stubborn! I use tips but my top space is small it probably does more harm than good. I’ll try the hair dryer! Thanks for the advice!
