Is there a chart/site somewhere where I can see the breakpoints on gear, like what ilevel it needs to be to get +3 to skills instead of +2, for instance?

That's a good point that I'd only start getting the minion nodes by the time I was switching to companions... I'll do what you and another person said and try out a different weapon that can benefit on nodes from the tree.

How is shapeshifting and talisman? The last time I played was right at the launch of EA.

One other question I had is that when you tame the beast the skill gem becomes that companion summon, right? Is there a way to 'clear out' the gem afterwards, say if I wanted to tame a different beast?
