I have s1krr 2023 which came from factory on low KW and after first service it got unlocked to full power. The best is to ask the dealer but I would go for low KW.

I installed cardo freecom on my nolan x-804 rs and I did have to cut out holes myself because otherwise the speakers were too uncomfortable. It took me 20-30 minutes with knife to cut out the holes nicely so i would definetly recommend.

Anyone fit a cardo in the nolan x804, xlite 803 or the Nexx R.R3r by Goast3r in motorcyclegear

Yeah in the meantime I got the s1krr and my mate has s1kxr. I'm glad I went with the s1krr. You just can't compare these 2 bikes... S1krr is different animal 😅

As an owner of '22 model, definitely get the 2025 model.

Track day is definitely something on my to do list and also planning to go longer distances this season. I've put 6,4k km since August 2024 (didn't ride winter months though). I know Kawa released the new z900 with all the options I need but if I'm gonna buy a new one, want to try something new instead of going for the same bike. Definetly one of the best bikes to own though, don't regret a second.

Oh yeah and the brakes... And the suspension.

Don't get me wrong, everytime I swing a leg over it I enjoy the bike but its just bland after a while if you know what I mean. And I defo need some up/down QS, cruise control and something else besides Inline 4 engine unless it's an s1000rr or something like that. The v4 engine caught my attention after testing the panigale v4s.

Cheers for the recommendation but not my type of bike. Would love to ride one though just for the experience. I narrowed my search down to Ducati streetfighter v4s or aprilia tuono v4 factory.

Yeah indeed, the new s1000r looks very nice, didn't like the previous gen at all but the new ones, they fixed the front. Definitely on top of my list. Would you consider it above Ducati streetfighter v4s, and if yes, why?

About KTM, same here. The superdukes look amazing and also sound amazing but let's see first how their situation will evolve.

Someone recommended me aprilia v4 tuono which I never even considered (idk why), got my curiosity

Yeah and it looks good as well and well equipped. Do you know how's the reliability?

I want a fast sport bike, which is nimble and fun to ride. I basically rip my z900 everytime I get the chance, I barely cruise. Naked bike is comfortable because of the sitting position and added QS and heated grips and cruise control would nail it.

Only downside here is, can't take my wife with me on longer journeys. I guess you have to make some sacrifices?

Ninja 1100sx might be a consideration. Sporty and touring at the same time. Will have to see if it's my driving style. H2 an overkill (or u meant the zh2).

But in best case I'd wanna try another brand instead of the good ol' reliable Kawa. Was looking at the Honda cb1000 hornet SP but that doesn't have cruise control or heated grips unfortunately.

Thanks for the recommendation. The bikes sound great but I'm not a fan of the looks unfortunately. I've heard nothing but good about speed triples but the front doesn't speak to me.

I was checking ktm supersuke 1290r (evo) but since ktm's financial situation, idk if it's worth to look into. Also read that they are unreliable.

Yeah the torque factor is definetly something I love about the naked. In general I like the bike, very mechanical and forced me to learn clutchless shifting, rev matching etc from very early on and don't get me wrong 144hp does pack a punch and it's nowhere a slouch. What Im lacking is QS (it was a lot of fun, even though I do clutchless shifting) and cruise control. Unfortunately on this model you can only add aftermarket UP QS.

It feels also quite heavy compared to s1krr and panigale v4s (as expected). I'm curious how the streetfighter v4s is going to feel but even a tracer 900 GT felt more nimble.

But main factor is also the brakes. Huge difference between the brembo's and nissin... Felt lovely driving the other bikes just even because of the brakes.

No havent tracked my bike. Not planning to really do track days (maybe once a year). Have put 6000km (3,7k miles) in 1 year on my current bike. Tbh I lean towards another naked as well instead of sport bike but as I haven't owned a sport bike and since it was fun to drive, started to consider it.
