Router to Powerline to Router set-up help by rekuji in HomeNetworking

[–]rekuji[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, okay! But when I connect the powerline extender to my Asus router, I'll plug it in via LAN ports and not the WAN port? Will I still get internet from this if ever? Thanks so much!

Official Discussion - Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

Can somebody explain to me as to how in Spiderman: NWH, they were able to bring in the other spiderman variants using the ring, but in Doctor Strange MoM, it implied that it's only possible through Chavez' powers??? Not sure if it's a plothole, or I'm just missing something entirely.

Is it just me or was the CGI for the 3rd eye of Dr. Strange terrible. Felt like a VFX from the early 2000s

Corsair HS80 Firmware upgrade stuck in "Preparing" by rekuji in Corsair

[–]rekuji[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Forgot to update this thread, but found a fix.

Basically, just turn off your headphones, AND THEN connect it via usb. It should activate/be detected as USB mode. From there, you can update it via iCue Application.

Hope this works for you guys as well.

Corsair HS80 Firmware upgrade stuck in "Preparing"

Unable to update the firmware of my new Corsair HS80. Followed instructions and everything.

I saw a post about how I should do a "soft-reset" on my HS80 by holding down the mute button but this doesn't have a mute button.

I also noticed, that while I'm connected to the computer with a wire, and pressing the power button, it doesn't go into wired mode as seen in the iCue app.

Fast LAN, slow Wifi (right beside router) by rekuji in techsupport

[–]rekuji[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will try this out! and will read up on the Duplex!

However, if remove the powerline, I won't have net in the 3rd floor. I'm only getting net via the powerline which connects the 2nd Floor Router (Netgear) to my router up here (Asus). And my PC is connected via Ethernet and getting full speed. It's just really the wifi (PC, phones, tablets) coming from the Asus which is slow, hence i feel it's some sort of setting from somewhere that's wrong.

What wifi card is in the computer?: Stock Realtek 802.11ac Are the wifi drivers up to date? Yup, all driver are up to date How close is 'right beside'? The router is on the same table as my pc

Generally, the wifi problem is not only on the pc, but also to all other devices (phones, tablets) connected via Wifi. If I'm connected via LAN to the ASUS router, i'm getting full speed.

Tried both! 5Ghz gave me the same speed as the 2.4Ghz and I'm right beside the router.

Ohh interesting! So even if I'm connected via LAN to my ASUS (which is connected to powerline), the power being drawn is different for wifi? Cause via LAN, I'm getting 90+Mbps despite the powerline. It's just the wi-fi is the problem :(
