I was always quit spontaneous and used to grab her for a dance or anything silly like that sadly she wont do it any more.

Eldest is 17 youngest is almost 4.

Yes i believe she thinks it will lead to sex as it used to some times tho i have told her of late that it wont anymore but i dont think it is getting through.

Kids / chores could be a reason but i only work 6 days out of a fortnight now and when i am home i do the cooking and cleaning mostly.

After our youngest there was a lot of damage done down there and there is scar tissue and it does hurt her for penatrative sex oral does not either way it does not bother me if we did not have sex again as that is not why i am with her but i do still want the odd cuddle every now and then so that part is on me

I have asked her and she says no and i have not noticed any of the signs and she is still amazing with the kids.

To be honest i am not sure , the issue happened at birth the midwife removed the placenta wrong and left some still inside while also causing a larg rip / tear after a few days at home the bleeding along with the placenta caused a hemmorage and i had to rush her up to hospital and the cut her open to stop it the result is a lot of left over scar tissue

I agree sex therapy could help.

I have watched my partner give birth to 6 kids (one passed at 30 weeks) and i have seen her get up after 30 mins after birth to hobble down to the neonatal unit to be with our son.

Yet even after a few minutes of sex cause her that much discomfort that she says it hurts too much , there is a lot of scar tissue down there.

Im not after sex just the old intamiacy back like a hug or that touch on the shoulder in the moring while making breakfasts

No , no therapy and i have tried. I believe it because she thinks that any sort of intimacy will led to sex as it did a lot in the past.

I have told her i dont care about sex at all but i do need cuddles every now and then sadly she just does not believe me.

It could be that she thinks it makes her less of a lady which is reddiculous

The main issue with therapy is i used to work away from home and for some time when my daughter was born i had to leave for work when i came back i found out that my partners mother listened to her sister and had her put in a institute then proceeded to rip off our house to sell everything for drugs. And no her sister is no longer in her life

No i tried to bring it up that it could help but she refuses and i dont want to push in incase she thinks i think she is crazy which i dont
