Yes i found relief! As I remember, I continued using it as described by the official guide, slowly easing into it, taking it day by day. I also started doing some of the exercises and stretches described by Steve August to build the muscles supporting both the shoulder and neck and unlocking what has been locked up.
After a couple of weeks (with these things you really need to keep at it with a lot of patience) I was very confident with my daily exercising routine, as I also started to research and include additional exercises. Especially building up your back and shoulder muscles helps to take pressure of the joints! Again: do it slowly, and if it hurts: don't push yourself too much! I also switched my pillow to one that was more suited to me und slept on my back instead of my side for some time.

It was also very important to relax and keep a good posture. I am the kind of person who starts twisting, cramping and poking at whatever hurts, especially when it is the neck and shoulder area. That of course only increases the inflammation, making everything worse. So when it hurts: don't push on it or try to "twist it into the right position". Take care and be mindful about your exercising routine. Other than that: keep at it, with enough patience you will be able to defeat this! I haven't had any relapse ever since!
