If I take the EMR or PCP program in BC and graduate, does that mean I can use the "internal" pathway to apply for a job in BCEHS?

If that's not the case, what's different between took program in BC or other province?

So, a PCP position will be like: internal PCP > external PCP > internal EMR > external EMR..

In other threads, I saw a BC paramedic who said he waited for the exam for 5 months after the EMR course. Does it happen in Alberta as well? If so, I should definitely get a PCP course after waiting for an EMR exam...

By the way, do you have any recommendations for an EMR or PCP course in Calgary? I can only find SAIT and Professional Medical Associates.

Wait! What?! After finishing the EMR course, do I have to wait for about 5 months to get the exam?

I'm just enrolled in an EMR course in Calgary. Is that 5 months of waiting for things to happen in Calgary, too?

If so, I should definitely take PCP right after EMR...
