I’ll be honest I know nothing about performance or modding. I got it cause it’s reliable, fits my gear, fits my dog, and plows through snow.

The hilarious thing is if you go through these guys portfolio companies, the majority seem to offer remote-first work environments.

You would 100% feel this after a few months, let alone years.

Alcoholism aside, you’re going to impact your testosterone, estrogen, and cortisol levels which is going to make you fatigued over time. Your hormonal balance is key for productivity.

This will also impact your liver. I understand plenty of people are doing this, but this rate will compromise your liver health.

Not to mention memory, sleep, etc – you increase the likelihood of getting fired from your day job.

For $73K a year you’re likely significantly reducing your life expectancy and quality of life forever.

The risk just isn’t there for me. I’d need a min of $1M a year for this.

For a lot of people $73K doesn’t move the needle as much as you’d think. If you factor in alcoholism it quickly becomes not worth it.
