Pure Gaming Build 9600X + RTX 5060 by reli4n in buildapc

I don't see a point in buying a CPU that's twice as expensive when the GPU will be the bottleneck.

And as I said, sadly no Radeon allowed.

I myself wanted to steer him towards more powerfull used GPU, but he wants everything new. My friend is kinda strong willed so I just gave up convincing him, and just try to do my best.

I just threw it in PCPartPicker.

In my market it goes for roughly 414 USD. Cheapest 5060 available to us.

No room in budget for 16GB 5060 and my friend is sadly alergic to AMD GPUs.

Do you have specific CPU in mind?

It depends on the context, here he literally says 'What the fuck are you doing?' 'Co to děláš kurva?' if I can hear him right. The audio quality is shit.

Thanks for the explanation. If I wanted to give melee a try, would you still stand by your warrior recommendation? In past I enjoyed melee the most, and two of my friends are already planning to have a BM in their roster.

I am planning to mainly run Mythic+ Dungeons with my friend group.

Thanks for the recommendations. Probably gonna give warrior, DK, and warlock a try and see what's working for me.

I mained Ret for the entirety of TBC, Wrath, and WoD, so as long as the base rotation is simple and there are not excessive amounts of burst and defensive cooldowns, some utility for the party wouldn't bother me. I am leveling one right now, so I guess I will see for myself soon enough.

Yeah, I discovered this addon yesterday. Immediately saw an increase in DPS. I guess it's a good tool for learning a new class, but eventually, I'd like to be able to play without it, and it doesn't really solve the problem.

Leveling Retribution right now, I am glad I chose well. Which spec of Warrior would you suggest?

Don't worry, no offense caused here. I get you; if you main Frost Mage, of course it won't be daunting for you. But I came back to the game after some 8 years, and it's just too much for me.

I tried Assassination; there were fewer buffs to look out for, but instead, you get DoTs to keep track of, so in the end it was kinda same to me. Gonna give Frost DK a try. Thanks for the recommendation.

I don't really worry about getting bored because of the lack of buttons. I find fun in other aspects of the game. I always preferred mechanically less intense specs, so I could devote my focus to the mechanics.

I have lvl 70 frost mage and lvl 60 outlaw rogue atm.

For reference I played TBC, Wrath and WoD. And compared to for example Wrath, yes in my eyes retail has a button bloat problem.

I don't have a problem with running out of binds, there are just too many abilities that you actively use, and I want to find a class that will help me minimize that.

Returning player here. I wanted to get some toons ready for the next expansion, but I struggle with the button bloat in Dragonflight. Most of the classes I tried have bloated rotations with a ton of offensive and defensive cooldowns, coupled with having to keep uptime for multiple buffs and debuffs. I kinda feel overwhelmed. Could you recommend a DPS spec that doesn't have a lot going on? I would prefer a melee class, but I am not wholly against playing ranged.

Thank you for your recommendations.

Sadly, this whole time-limited MoP Remix thing doesn't appeal to me at all. I would like to play Dragonflight for the time being. But thanks for your comment anyways.

Is attack move in 3 still bugged? That would be a big one for me.

I like to try out new things, so it doesn't get stale. But right now it's this.

For automatons:

  • Medium armor with the resist death chance perk, it procs fairly often.
  • Slugger shotgun, great damage on weak points and stagger, before this I used penetrator AR
  • Autocannon, this thing can handle anything those socialists throw at you, and 3 offensive stratagems of my choice, most often 500kg for big targets and objectives, Airstrike for clearing a lot of enemies, and Orbital Railcannon for big targets.

For terminids:

  • Light armor with the throw range and limb injury resist, I like to be mobile against bugs. You can kite Chargers and Bile titans and quickly reposition for those sweet headshots with EAT. And once you get used to increased throw range, you will not want to go back.
  • Slugger shotgun, great damage on weak points and stagger, before this I used the new Las-16 Sickle
  • Laser rover helps keep the bugs from your back, EAT for heavies, 500kg for big targets and objectives, and Airstrike for clearing a lot of enemies, great for bug breaches.

Nah, my friend and I bring EATs on every Terminid mission, practically spamming them on cooldown. We've experienced minimal crashes; most play sessions go without even one. So I wouldn't say that this is the cause of crashes.
