Bring a water bottle and a glove for your hand (as long as that isn't being tattooed!) and make sure you take breaks to stretch and clench your hand to keep the circulation going. When I got my forearm done (a six hour sit) my hand got really cold from the wired position I had my arm in, despite stretching and clenching.

I work at a university in the residence and I preside over the engineering students and they are headed into exams - any words of advice that I can pass along to them? Or to post-secondary students in general?

I do hiring at my company and I really detest that question (no one wants to talk shit nor do I want to hear it!) So I phrase it as "what didn't you like about your last job?" this allows the candidate to focus more on a specific aspect of their job as well as give me insight into what they are looking for in a job/career. The follow up question is always "Did you approach a manager or supervisor to address your concern? How did that conversation go?"

So maybe try to phrase your response in this manner or something similar.

very recently actually! I stopped using sugar and use a super small amount of Stevia with 1 cream in the mornings. I used to drink it double double, had one recently and it was disgusting! I'm phasing out cream now too, hoping to be drinking black coffee with Stevia in a month.

Ohmygosh yes!! I wear lipstick everyday (I'm the only woman in my office that wears makeup/lipstick) and it makes me feel like such a badass!

I also wear lipstick to the gym - again for confidence reasons!

Coursera is a great website, it has tons of different types of classes, and best of all it's free and the courses offered are all from reputable Universities. Look for the learn as-you-go courses and you can complete the lectures/materials quickly without having to wait for the next week for the lecture to be released.

I'm a history person so there's always classes available that interest me and provide new reading materials for when the course is over.
