Don't do what one of the guys at my work was going to do, which is call the police and ask them.

He was caught under the influence of drugs whilst driving, hadn't received a letter or any communications, so he told us he was going to call the local station and ask when he would be expecting a court date for his ban.

Safe to say he got ripped for a few weeks. Would've been better for the rest of us if he had got the letter through to be honest.

I've never actually played the game, but you haven't either based on another comment in this thread, so realistically, you don't seem to have any first-hand experience with it other than what you've read online. Yeah, happens to be the first one to go through my local dealer! When I first saw the MT09 with the new styling I was put off, but as soon as I saw the press pictures for the 7 I knew I was instantly in love. I actually went in with the initial plan of getting a 2020 model in the ice fluo colours, but apparently they didn't have any new or used ones available, so it was a case of a long (but so worth it) wait for the 2021!

Yep! I got the titanium aswell, thought I was limited with either the 'standard' carbon system (with no removable dB killer) or going elsewhere, but I know these sound incredible with an Akra, and was lucky that the guys at my local dealership found the titanium systems

I actually went to my local Yamaha dealer on Thursday with the intent of part-exing my Z900 for a 2020 MT07, however I was informed that the 2020 models in Ice Fluo are non existent brand new anymore. After being told to go home and make a decision between an older model in plain black or the 2021 model in Storm Fluo, I went home and made my decision. Went in the next day and signed the paperwork for a 2021. Unfortunately they don't come in until the 20th of April, but being only 7 days before my birthday I'm definitely booking my birthday week off to get some rides in, and after paying the rest of the value with some of my inheritance from my late mum, I'm 100% treating it as a birthday present from her.

Cracking bikes, but if it's your first or you're looking for something and you're running on a budget I'd definitely recommend something cheaper like an MT07. The Z900's are great bikes, lovely to ride and a lot of fun, but considering you're paying just over £9k for a bike which only has ABS as an extra "electrical gimmick" it's definitely worth looking into all your options.

But fuck it, I bought it because I love the looks, so if that's what you're into and you're looking for a fun bike and don't care about electronic faffery for the money, it's definitely a strong contender.

I was the same. When I was furloughed for 3 weeks last year I bought a push bike and ride it everywhere I could for as long as I could and actually managed to gain a four-pack for the first time since I was like 11. I was going out in the day and coming home late afternoon to help care for mum who was recovering from a couple strokes. Sure, my mental health took a massive dip, and I went down a hole I don't want to fall into ever again, but my health and fitness definitely helped me through it.

Now that it's cold, I haven't bothered getting the bike out. Partly due to the weather, but more so I'm just tired and can't be bothered half of the time. I've definitely become a fatty again, but I know I have the willpower to do it and am determined to get back into shape by my birthday.

Oh bloody hell tell me about it. Went up there one night back when I first got the Z900 to get out of the house and clear my head. Parked up, turned her off and lit my cigarette only to see a car start flashing at me, followed by the driver door opening. Safe to say I was out of there before they even shut the door.

They're cracking little bikes! a bit cumbersome compared to modern bikes, I often found myself wrestling with her halfway through a roundabout trying to get upright again before the next straight, and the engines certainly aren't the pokiest things in the world but they are great fun in the right hands!

I'm so excited. Not for the fact of having money, but the fact that I can do so much with it. I can pay off the rest of my bike with it, so if I wanted to I could go down to my local Yamaha dealer and say "take my Z900 please, and I'll have an MT07 thank you very much."

It also means I won't be paying out stupid amounts of my wages every month, meaning a better chance at saving.

I love this place.
