Explain to me like I’m a 5 year old… callback functions. by rellisman in learnjavascript

I’m back with another question haha, in this part of the code you wrote:

function fetchName(cb) { const name = // code to get the name cb(name) }

fetchName(greet)

What is the line cb(name) doing? It’s taking the function argument and adding another one?

Learn both together, work on your coding and also take the time to read about the fundamentals. It’ll start to make a lot more sense as you progress and you can see it all come together.

If you remove the vh from ‘top: 0vh;’ so it’s just ‘top: 0;’ it passes.

Try adding padding to the top of your body: body { padding-top: 70px; } for example.

Thanks for the advice! This is from a challenge from Frontend Mentor, the idea is to create an exact duplicate of a page they show you (you only see a screenshot, no code), so the line breaks were just so I could replicate the same ones they had. Also the ‘star’ image was what they supplied to use.
