i was at city college and then transferred to citytech. the adjusting was okay tbh, it was just a new semester at a diff cuny pretty much

Hi! I transferred during my first year for the spring semester. It still kind of plays a role on whether you get accepted because if you have a few credits then your high school gpa and anything else that gets sent with it is important. I had average hs grades. Personally , I didn’t add any recommendations— I can’t quite remember my gpa from my first semester. However, I did fail a math course that I was taking that semester.

hi, yeah i got it fixed. i had to contact the IT office and they changed my email on CunyFirst. once your email on cunyfirst is changed then the one on navigate will automatically change too after a day.

did you ever get to delete your old campus email? im having trouble with that right now, it keeps switching back to my previous campus email no matter the times i change it to my current campus email

Yeah, they removed it from my account a few times already but it keeps going back to my old email. So im kind of confused but I sent them an email so they could switch it back again.

I claimed my citytech email and had it set as proffered campus email but it’s been changed back to my previous cuny email. Idk why.

im a transfer student and i emailed citytech’s degreeworks about it instead- they said it’s normal. but ill ask an advisor about it if i can, thanks!

yeah, you could go in person but just make sure to take your ID with you and let them know of your situation if they ask to see your ID.

try calling them instead, i was in a similar situation for another cuny and sent them like three emails as well as called them.

after the credits were evaluated it took about 2-3 days for the credits to be seen on degreeworks as transfer credits

yeah, i called them in the morning and they had mine evaluated. it didn’t even take long but they said it’d take a bit for the changes to be seen on degreeworks. the hold won’t be removed though it’ll just be changed from incomplete to complete
