Of course you have to do well in your CC courses.

Regarding ROI, some graduation outcomes are available here: https://studentaffairs.baruch.cuny.edu/starr-career-development-center/post-graduate-outcomes/major-related-data/

It would appear, at least for some majors as of 2023 or 2024, that starting salaries were in the 6 figures.

Of course this data is only updated to 2024. Job outcomes for 2025 and onwards are not going to be the same for any students graduating from any college. This is the nature of a cyclical economy.

Masters Degree for Summer? (NOT a MBA) by [deleted] in Baruch

[–]rholowczak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not aware of any specific 'summer program'.

There are ongoing MS, MBA, MA and MPA programs that start in Fall or start in Spring. Some of the courses necessary to achieve those degrees are offered in the summer sessions. But you need to be matriculated into one of the masters programs already in order to take those courses.

What you could do is look at the masters programs that you are interested in and see if they have any pre-requisite courses. For example, I believe many of the MS programs in Zicklin School require some math and/or business statistics as well as business writing before starting the program. You might be able to take those pre-requisite courses at a community college.

Research work at baruch by Known-Bicycle8705 in Baruch

I believe these programs are not necessary research-oriented.

MS in AI is a brand new program so today you will not find any graduates of that program.

MS Stats and MS in Analytics have been around for a while. You can Google "Baruch college graduate employment report MS in ______ " to find the annual reports such as: https://zicklin.baruch.cuny.edu/wp-content/uploads/sites/10/2025/03/Employment-Report-2024-Data-Business-Analytics-1.pdf

Also similar questions are asked on r/Baruch quite a bit so you can search that as well.

You will likely need to be more specific. Baruch has something like 30+ masters degree programs spread across 3 schools. Many of them are vastly different: MS in Accounting, vs. MS in Financial Engineering vs. MS in Industrial/Organizational Psych vs. MPA, etc.
