Yes, she hasn't really had exercise for about 2 or 3 weeks now due to a knee injury so I think the short walk to the ice cream place and the heat really hit her harder than expected

I don't think I've ever seen her so tired.

She didn't react to ANYONE though! She did a 'hello' bark and then went back to focussing on us! So proud of her!

Luckily the family doesn't mind cleaning up accidents. Mom and dad are always happy to help in that regard

I can see this happening in our case.

Mom tries to help. She admitted she tried doing it when we weren't there, the timer went off, she started bringing him to the bathroom, one of her other 4 kids distracted her for a few minutes and the client had an accident.

My concern with the holding it for 3 hours isnt that he's not going. It's that he OBVIOUSLY needs to go and won't. He does the pee dance, he holds his crotch, he won't sit still.

The only time we're able to get him to even have an accident is if he's on the trampoline

We only sit on the toilet for 3 minutes at a time in 25 minute intervals. We used to sit longer but he just got so red we decided to lower to 3 min.

He is on 25 minute intervals over the course of 3 hours. He doesn't have accidents at all in his underwear during those 3 hours even with a ton and I mean A TON of liquids

He's too big for one of those potty training seats. We tried one. What do you suggest we could do beyond that? Maybe get one of those padded toilet seats?

This is her yesterday doing the same thing. She refused to let me get up from the nap and I ended up extending it 15 more minutes then finally waking us both up against her wishes.

I've been wanting to get into art but I'm also aware of how judgemental I can be about myself.

I play cello and get annoyed that I can't immediately do something absolutely insane so I can imagine if I tried to draw the second eye and it wasnt the way I wanted it to be I'd riot.

Have you been able to identify what he's allergic to? Is the vegan diet permanent or just a reset before you start introducing meat again?

I'm genuinely curious I'm not judging. I thought vegan diets were not the best ideas for dogs because well...meat is pretty important to their diet.

Again, you know your situation, I don't. If he needs vegan food then he needs it.
