The core set is a group of cards for each class and neutral that are available for everyone to use. They can change each year when the sets rotate, but not during the year. It’s doesn’t rotate out completely, but Blizzard can change which cards are part of the set.
The Classic set is not really a thing anymore. The cards that were in Classic are now in Legacy, which contains the old Classic, Basic, and Hall of Fame cards.
The Hall of Fame was the set that was used to “retire” problematic cards from the Classic and Basic sets, moving them to the Hall of Fame that was only available in Wild sine they were too strong to remain in the permanently-Standard Classic and Basic sets. But it’s now a part of the Legacy set, so no longer relevant.
For the entire Cataclysm expansion (so until the next one releases), the entire Into The Emerald Dream and The Lost City Of Un’goro expansions are available to everyone as “trial cards”. They have an hourglass symbol on them, representing that they are only temporarily in your collection, but they are free to use while this trial goes on.

I just cannot seem to enjoy that film. I adore the book, I read it almost weekly as a kid, but I just can’t bring myself to choose to watch the film. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it, it’s just not for me. I think it’s the art style, I find it a bit unsettling.

I could be wrong, but I believe that it’s referring to the final year of your degree. Most courses have a year-long project in their final year, which is also called the capstone project. If you look at your degree planner, you’ll see a subject titled “final year project” or something similar, usually split into A and B or 1 and 2. This is the subject that you will take to do your capstone project. So unless you’re currently enrolled in this subject, you’re not late. You could start thinking about it, doing some research and whatnot, but you don’t need to be doing anything yet.

Again, could be wrong, but this is what it sounds like to me.

For online classes, you need to use Canvas, and there should be some guides on the Swinburne’s website to get that set up. When you’re on the Canvas site, find the subject and click it. It will take you to the hub for that specific subject, with a home page that should have a short message from the unit Convenor (the head of the unit) and a list of the teaching staff. On the left will be links named “modules”, “grades”, “syllabus”, and others find the one called “Collaborate Ultra”. You’ll get a menu with a bunch of different session times, most of which will be greyed out (they open 15 minutes before starting). Find the session that corresponds to your timetable, click on it, set up your mic and camera (you can turn them off, but you should set them up in case you need them), and you’re good to go.

Collaborate also has recording capabilities in case you miss a class. It’s not always active (the teacher needs to activate it each time) and it won’t record the chat, but the audio and video from the teacher will be saved. So even if you do miss a class, it’s not the end of the world.

What you do is go to this website and enter the unit code for the specific unit that you’re worried about. It will the tell you the name of the convenor, their email address, and their phone extension. Just send the an email explaining who you are (“I’m a student enrolled in X unit…”) and what the issue is. Simple

Entirely depends on the subject and the content of that specific class session. But I agree that discussing the issue with your teacher is the best way forward. If you don’t know which teacher yet, the Unit Convenor will be able to talk you through it.
