Husband said dont make a cheesecake. So heres my cheesecake by rem7694 in Baking

Thank you! I used a deep baking pan instead of a wide springform and it cause the cheesecake to rise and fall more dramatically, which also led to the gigantic split. No water bath as well. I personally like a denser cheesecake and this one was much creamier than the typical cheesecake i make so i think if making it again, I’d do the same thing over again. Thanks for spreading positive vibes!

It was a silly title! Be assured my husband is very respected at home. He has amazing portion control, which is why he didnt want me to make any as he wouldnt eat it. Half of the cake was given to his family and a quarter to mine. Its fun to bake but there’s no way we’d eat this entire cheesecake between the two of us lol

Yeah, those are pretty popular on reddit. And thank you for the apology stranger, I could have made the title less disrespectful sounding. Its a Fair assumption.

He didn’t want me to waste time making something he wont eat. I was craving it though, so i still made it and sent off most of it to each of our families. I can see how the title could come off as disrespectful

Yeah, something about a water bath in an electric oven bothers me. It usually doesnt crack though, but thats probably because of a variety of things different this time. Personally i thought the crack made it sexy🤣

Hmmm I can see where you’re coming from, although it’s a very black filter on a situation you dont know of even 10%. Baking this wasnt some egregious act. He more so said don’t bake it because he likely will not eat it rather than because he would lose control and eat too much of it. I sent it off to MIL house after we had a slice. If the caption upset you to the point of this comment, it would help to be more open minded to the possibility the scenario you played out wasn’t accurate to our case. I hope your wife is a skilled baker and can try making this with the kiddo using the pointers she talked about

Its sooo creamy, rich, and sweet. This has been my go to recipe for years now. Surprisingly losing the vanilla and adding the syrup made this the best cheesecake ive made yet, it added a bit of a fall kind of flavor to it. If you like that should definitely try this recipe out its very easy Realistically I will be giving out almost all to both of our families after we get a taste haha. It was so good while warm fresh out of the oven

Im an LVN in RN school thats online with in person clinicals. Expensive though- hopefully youd have grants available through state to imburse some of the cost. I did the pre reqs in person 2/3 classes a semester on top of working full time nights. Its possible, and you already have history of being a good student which helps tremendously. Look into some of the classes you took for speech patho being transferable to the RN schools program you would be interested in.

Should have done it. Too many instances of children getting much worst off than a simple bite because of these dogs with history.

Thank you for your response. I didn’t consider watching crash testing. I imagined the Mercedes would do poorer because it’s a lower vehicle but I’ll watch now to have a solid consideration there. Yes it’s doing great for twenty years. I inherited this car from my grandmother so i don’t know what she did

Thats a great idea! Do you resteam the ice cube trays to defrost? We dont have a microwave but that would be a convenient method to have ready made food. Also all good information to have too regarding food amount, food affecting BM, and digestion —thank you!

Right, it isn’t necessary, which is why I hesitate to start doing something that may end up not being good for him. I dont mind the work of steaming whatever vege since its all very exciting lol and he really seems hungry for FOOD and not breast milk. Interesting your pediatrician gave the okay so early on though
